Who is Oli Higginson’s wife?
Higginson’s longtime love is Meaghan Martin, who is best known for playing Tess in Disney’s Camp Rock franchise. (In case it’s been a while since your last viewing: She’s the blonde antagonist. Miss “Too Cool” herself.)

Martin also starred in ABC Family’s 10 Things I Hate About You series and Mean Girls 2 before relocating to England. She graduated from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 2016. There, she’s acted in a number of stage productions. In 2019, Martin made her professional London stage debut in The Actor’s Nightmare.
How did Oli Higginson Meaghan Martin meet?
On their wedding photographer‘s website, Martin said, “Oli and I met on a two week summer acting course. The first class activity we did was hold eye contact with each other for five minutes straight!”
It’s unclear when exactly they first crossed paths, but they got engaged and married in 2016, the same year Martin graduated. It seems that Martin broke the “aggressive rule” she had as a teenager that she wouldn’t date other actors, which she told People about in 2024.

Higginson and Martin are also collaborators. In 2019, the couple launched a production company called 3 hearts canvas. “I love working with Meaghan, she is my constant inspiration and a huge support to me in my life,” Higginson told Tresa Magazine. “We’re lucky that we also work very well together in a professional context and we’re constantly bouncing around ideas and challenging each other.”
In 2023, the couple acted opposite each other in Kim Davies’ one-act play Smoke, in which their characters meet at a BDSM party. “I actually keep forgetting that I’m working with my wife, because we’ve set quite clear boundaries as professionals in the way that we approach it as actors,” Higginson told Theatre Weekly, adding that they were “trying to not bring our own history of our relationship into the work space.”
Higginson mentioned the upside of working with his partner, saying, “It’s been really nice as well just to have the freedom, or an excuse, to spend lots of time together, because as anyone in relationship knows, when you’re trying to juggle your work schedules, often you miss each other, and you become ships in the night. Even more so when you’re both actors.”
