Jim and Monika said “I do” in a behind-the-scenes clip from Episode 5, and the former explained that their union is a “common law marriage.”
Though most viewers are wondering if Jim and Monika are still married since filming ended last summer, Jim’s past relationships have also become a talking point. Social media users noticed that Jim used to appear in YouTuber Jeffree Star’s videos in late 2024, fueling rumors that they used to date. On February 1, Jim responded to the claims that that he and Star were once boyfriends.

Did Beast Games’ Jim date Jeffree Star?
Jim has denied that he and the YouTuber ever dated. “We used to be friends and make tiktoks together, but after a while I started to feel like he wanted to be more than just friends with me,” Jim wrote on X. “So I told him I felt like we weren’t on the same page, and we haven’t spoken since. Stop jumping to conclusions.”
Per user screenshots, Jim seemingly wrote the same message in a TikTok comment, which has since been deleted. There, Star reportedly responded to Jim’s statement directly, saying, “So sleeping together over 25 times is what friends do? I’m bored, have fun with your fake relationship and I wish you all the best. Hopefully one day you’ll be able to be yourself.”
When did the Jim and Jeffree Star dating rumors start?
The rumors seem to have started in fall 2024, when Jim started appearing in Star’s videos. In one TikTok from September of that year, Starr liked a comment that reads, “you really need to stick with Jim. He’s legit. His heart and genuine love for life are rare treasures!” According to The Tab, Star also used the hashtag #couplegoals on their videos.
