‘Southern Charm’: Why Did Austen Kroll & Audrey Pratt Split?
Season 11 of Southern Charm has been documenting the lead-up to Austen Kroll and Audrey Pratt’s split. At BravoCon in November 2025, Kroll confirmed that he and Pratt ended things after about two years together.
Fans of Southern Charm first got to know Pratt on Season 10 of Southern Charm in 2024. The exes met in December 2023 when Kroll was visiting his hometown, Charlotte, North Carolina, which is where Pratt is from. They happened to be dining at the same restaurant with their respective friends, and after some coaxing from one of Pratt’s pals, Kroll approached his future girlfriend. They ended up going to a baseball game for their first date.

Why did Austen Kroll and Audrey Pratt split?
Kroll and Pratt were more than a year into their relationship when they started filming Season 11 of Southern Charm. “It starts to beg the question, ‘Really, what is the next step?'” he told E! at BravoCon 2025. Kroll revealed that he “talked it out with family and friends,” and said that made things hard “because unwanted opinions and things start to seep in.”
He later explained on the Chicks in the Office podcast, “I was having conversations that I feel like normal people have after a year and a half in of like, ‘OK, well, what’s that next move?’ Because I don’t want to do it any longer. It was really nice for the amount of time that we did it, and then it was getting to the point of ‘What’s next?'”
While Kroll has said that nothing “bad” happened to cause the split, he admitted that the pressures of being on a reality show contributed to the breakup. “It forces the narrative,” he explained. “It accelerates your life by, like, 10 months, right? It’s like, we need to know answers. We need to know now. You think that you’re being vulnerable, but what you’re really doing is kind of providing a chink in the armor for other people to feed off of. That’s what happened.”
Kroll described the breakup as “so adult,” adding, “I’ve never broken up with somebody in the manner that [we did].”
During a Season 11 episode of Southern Charm, Kroll also denied the rumors that he cheated on Pratt. The rumor came to light via Shep Rose, who told Craig Conover about it. “There is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I have cheated on my girlfriend,” Kroll insisted. “Which is why it upsets me so much that my two friends can so callously spread just bulls**t.”
How long were Austen Kroll and Audrey Pratt together?
Kroll and Pratt were together for about a year and a half before their breakup. They met in December 2023 and ended their relationship in June or July 2025.
Is Austen Kroll dating Salley Carson?
Even before Pratt and Kroll broke up, Salley Carson had made her interest in the entrepreneur clear on this season of Southern Charm. However, they are not romantically involved.
However, Carson said on Watch What Happens Live in January 2026 that she and Kroll are very close friends and talk every day.
“We have become close,” Kroll reiterated on The Viall Files. “But no, we’re not dating, anything like that. I really, really like where me and Salley are.”
Is Austen Kroll dating anyone now?
Kroll has not gone public with a relationship since his split from Pratt. However, he did “exchange numbers” with The Real Housewives of Miami star Kiki Barth at BravoCon 2025.
“She was very pleasant when I reached out to her, but it just didn’t materialize,” he confirmed on Watch What Happens Live.
