Ahead of Season 5 of 90 Day: The Single Life, fans were already wondering whether 90 Day Fiancé alums Pedro Jimeno and Sophie Sierra are still together. Now that the premiere has aired, Sophie sat down with Swooon to break down how she met Pedro and what happened during their early days together in the Dominican Republic.
While The Single Life Season 5 cast announcement, which features Pedro and Sophie, along with Gino Palazzolo, Liz Woods, Colt Johnson, and other 90 Day favorites, confirmed that Pedro and Sophie are an item, it was actually Sophie’s ex-husband, Rob Warne, who spilled the tea on their budding relationship first. During the 90 Day: Hunt for Love Tell All, Rob told Pedro’s ex-wife, Chantel Everett, that their exes were “talking.”

When did Pedro Jimeno and Sophie Sierra start dating?
While Pedro and Sophie have not announced when they started seeing each other, fans noticed that the duo posted photos from the same location on Valentine’s Day in 2025. Sophie’s ex-husband, Rob, was a main cast member on 90 Day: Hunt for Love. During the Hunt for Love Tell All, which was filmed in June 2025, Rob told his costars, “From what I’ve heard, she’s actually talking to Chantel’s ex [Pedro].” Tiffany Franco responded for all of us, immediately exclaiming, “Oh my God! What the f**k?!”
During The Single Life preview, Sophie told viewers, “I’m Sophie, and I recently filed for divorce, so what better way to celebrate than with a girls’ trip?” She is joined in the Dominican Republic by Liz and their married friend, Julia Trubinka, who are both 90 Day alums as well. In the trailer, Sophie says, “I’ve been talking to this guy, and yeah, it is that Pedro.”
Are Pedro and Sophie still together today?
Pedro and Sophie’s Season 5 costar Cortney Reardanz recently spoke with Swooon, revealing that she and Colt have been filming The Single Life since Hunt for Love ended a year ago. Since Sophie and Pedro probably started filming at roughly the same time, fans have started to question if Pedro and Sophie are still together today.
While the couple has obviously not revealed the status of their relationship, they do still follow each other on Instagram, which is always a good sign. However, the final preview for The Single Life Season 5 revealed that Pedro’s sister, Nicole Jimeno, who fans met on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and The Family Chantel, will also be paying a visit to the couple in the Dominican Republic. This means that Sophie will need to get Nicole’s famously hard-to-earn approval in order to win Pedro’s heart.
What has Sophie said about her relationship with Pedro?
On February 9, Sophie chatted with Swooon to celebrate the premiere of The Single Life and spilled all the tea on her blossoming relationship with Pedro. She revealed to Swooon that she had no idea who Pedro was before she followed him. “I think a lot of people think I’ve seen Chantel’s family’s season, and I’ve actually never watched that one,” she explained. “So he’s not someone that I was thinking about, but when I saw him, he was cute and confident, so I followed him, and then he DM’d me first.”
Sophie also revealed that she and Pedro were not exclusive at the time, despite what he may have thought. She told Swooon, “I was not ready for a relationship at that point — like at all.”
