After a whirlwind of a Season, Devonta Anderson and Brittany Wicker’s romantic fate has finally been revealed during the Love Is Blind Season 10 wedding episode.

Things started out rocky for the couple. After an argument in Cabo aired during the first batch of episodes, Brittany told Swooon, “What was going through my mind was, there’s absolutely no way this is going to work.” Did anything change between then and their wedding day?

32-year-old loan officer Devonta and 33-year-old registered nurse Brittany had better luck back in Ohio, though Brittany did bring up her concern about not feeling “secure” with her fiancé. As their wedding got closer, another hurdle came up when Devonta suggested a prenup.

“I don’t wanna be married to somebody that feels like they have to protect themselves from me,” Brittany said, unsure if it was the right move. Did they stay together after that? Scroll to find out all about Devonta and Brittany’s relationship, including whether they got married, and if they’re still together today.

Are Brittany and Devonta still together?

As of Episode 12, Brittany and Devonta are still together, but not married. Viewers will have to wait until the reunion to find out if they have kept up their engagement off camera!

According to Brittany, she and Devonta left the experiment engaged; however, he appeared to be singing a different tune. She told viewers, “Our story’s not over, whether that’s marriage now or marriage later. We are going to be husband and wife one day.” At the same time, Devonta didn’t seem so sure. He confessed, “[Brittany] having the dress pre-bought was something that really threw me. Were you gonna get married regardless if it was me?”

Despite the prenup conversation going unresolved, both attended their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties. About a week before their wedding, Devonta said in a confessional, “I guess I haven’t had this pressure before of, like, the marriage. It’s more been in a relationship where you can just kind of drag things out. I would say I’m definitely like, worried about it.”

When it cut to the two having a conversation, Brittany seemed more sure of their future together, saying that their foundation could last a lifetime. “You are the first person I’ve met that I felt like it’s worth giving up my independence,” she added.

Devonta responded that he was feeling overwhelmed by the situation. As great as things were going between them, he admitted that he was still processing and needed to take a day “off-the-grid.” When Brittany asked if her fiancé would say yes at the altar — which is what Brittany said she would do — he said he was “98% there.”

Before the prenup came up, Devonta brought up one of his concerns. He heard that Brittany said he didn’t kiss her enough or tell her she’s pretty enough at the dress fitting, which they argued about in previous episodes. She explained that they asked what Devonta was going to say about her dress, and she said he’s “a man of few words.”

“But I know you’re not somebody that’s ever going to be gushing over me,” she explained. “It’s not your personality, and that’s something that I’ve had to come to terms with.”

When did Devonta propose to Brittany?

It’s clear that Brittany came to Love Is Blind looking for love. She even bought a wedding dress before heading into the Pods! From Episode 1, Brittany was locked in on Devonta, and by Episode 4, the two were officially engaged.

Ahead of his proposal, Brittany told Devonta, “I am grateful for you. Thank you for bringing me so much peace, comfort, and security. Even with not even physically being with you, I just feel so safe. I feel loved. I feel seen. And I pray for a lifetime of love, laughs, and lots of babies.”

While proposing, he told her, “I met my best friend, and I am excited to do life with you. Brittany Elena Wicker, will you marry me?” Of course, Brittany told him, “I can’t wait to be your wife.”

Why did Devonta get pulled out of the pods by production?

In Episode 3, Devonta told Brittany that he had been pulled out by production ahead of their date because his grandfather had died. He told her, “I do want to share something a little personal with you. I got pulled out by production, and my grandfather passed away.” He made the difficult decision to stay in the experiment, telling Brittany, “This is what my grandfather would want.”

What happened between Brittany and Devonta in Cabo?

At the end of Episode 6, Brittany walked away in the middle of a conversation with Devonta. She had previously told him that she was looking for a little more connection. She confessed, “I don’t know. I just feel like we have not been, like, connecting with each other… It’s just like ‘Do you even, like, find me attractive?’ ‘Cause you don’t ever tell me. And do you even wanna be here with me? I literally don’t feel like we’re even engaged. I feel like we’re just hanging out.”

On the other hand, Devonta felt like they were in a good place. He told her, “The fact that I don’t wake up in the bed next to you, like, sorry, I get up early, and I don’t want to lay in bed all morning. I wanna be out here watching the sunrise, reading my book. I fall asleep out here. Like, that’s not me isolating from you.”

In the pods, Brittany told Devonta that she was going through a “season of celibacy,” vowing to wait until she knows that Devonta is the one before they do the deed, even though he gives her the “tingly winglies.” Feeling distant from Devonta in Cabo, Brittany told him that she would have sex if he thought it would bring them closer together. However, as she told him, “We should be in a honeymoon phase,” he responded, “Okay. We’re not — it’s not the honeymoon.”

As Brittany told Devonta that she wanted more, Devonta told her, “There’s just a lot going on in my head right now. All the stuff with my family, adjusting back to life. Like, there’s a lot to take in. And I’m walking back with someone not in my family anymore.” He continued, “I’m not saying your feelings aren’t valid, but I don’t know.”

Telling Devonta she was in “pure shock,” arguing that they should “want to be in each other’s space” if they’re getting married, Brittany walked away and shut the door.
