‘RHOBH’: Who Did Erika Jayne Date After Tom Girardi? Her Rumored Romance & New Boyfriend
With Season 15 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in full swing, there’s been renewed interest in Erika Jayne‘s love life. She filed for divorce from Tom Girardi in 2020 after more than 20 years together, and while the split still isn’t finalized, she went public with her new man in 2025.

Who was Erika Jayne’s boyfriend after Tom Girardi?
After her split from Girardi, Jayne made it clear that she would not be putting her love life in the spotlight anymore. Until she met her current boyfriend (more on him below), she was not in any public relationships post-divorce.
However, in 2023 she was briefly linked to Jim Wilkes, an attorney who was friends with Girardi, after they were spotted together in Las Vegas. “Jim is her lawyer and family friend for over 20 years,” a rep for the reality star told Us Weekly at the time. Wilkes was reportedly helping Jayne with her finances amid the legal issues that stemmed from her divorce from Girardi.
Shortly after the romance rumors swirled, Wilkes posted a now-deleted photo with his then-wife, Trista, to seemingly shut down the speculation about him and Jayne. Per public records, he filed for divorce from Trista in 2023, although their current status is unclear. In an interview with Page Six, he also denied rumors that he was dating Jayne.
Right before this duo made headlines, Wilkes was arrested after a domestic dispute. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor battery, according to the Tampa Bay Times. Wilkes fired two gunshots inside his Florida home, claiming it was done as a scare tactic after a woman, who was not named, allegedly hit him. He denied the woman’s allegation that he threatened to kill her with the gun.
“He was attacked, and he was defending himself,” a lawyer for Wilkes said. “That’s the extent of it.”
Meanwhile, Jayne was also romantically linked to fellow Bravo star Jesse Solomon in May 2025. She and the Summer House star both appeared on Watch What Happens Live on the same night and reportedly hooked up afterwards, according to People.
Their alleged hookup came after they met at the NBC Upfronts earlier that month, per People. “They met at rehearsal earlier this month for NBC Upfronts, and were seen getting cozy together at a private cocktail party the network threw for talent at the Mandarin Oriental,” the outlet’s source shared. “They spent a lot of time talking together on a couch, off to themselves.”
It’s possible that Jayne also had other post-divorce relationships that were never publicized, as well.
Who is Erika Jayne in a relationship with now?
Jayne’s current boyfriend is John “Shrek” McPhee. They were first linked when they were photographed holding hands in July 2025. Of the unexpected paparazzi photos, Jayne explained on the Diamonds in the Rough podcast, “I met someone, and we went out on two dates, and then we went to get a manicure-pedicure. What was a nice, private moment and a nice, private thing I was having for myself was ruined.”
McPhee is part of Heidi Montag‘s security team. Jayne met him while she was performing at the same festival as The Hills star in June 2025. She actually recognized McPhee from a podcast she’d listened to and introduced herself.
“I saw him on a friend of mine’s podcast because I watch everybody’s podcast late at night before I go to bed,” Jayne shared. “I saw him on a friend of mine’s podcast and I thought, ‘Wow, that’s an interesting interview.'”
McPhee is retired from the Army in 2011. He served as a Special Operations Sergeant Major. Following his stint in the Army, he created the company Sheriff of Baghdad, which offers video diagnostics training in special shooting.
Who was Erika Jayne’s first husband?
Prior to her relationship with Girardi, Jayne was married to Thomas Zizzo, a DJ whom she met in New York City. The exes were married from 1991 to 1996 and share a son, Tommy, born in 1992.
“My first husband I actually had a great relationship, probably a better relationship divorced than married,” Jayne admitted in 2024. She also said that she and Zizzo are “still friends to this day.”
While she hasn’t publicly spoken about her relationship with Zizzo much, she did reveal at BravoCon 2023 that they “met at the club” where he was DJing.
