‘Survivor’: Is Q Burdette Married? Inside His Love Life & Family
Of all the Survivor new era players, nobody has made quite a splash like Quintavius “Q” Burdette. The Season 46 contestant is one of the returnees heading back to the beach for Season 50.

Is Q Burdette married?
Yes, Q married his wife, Emily Burdette, on July 18, 2020. “7.18.2020 I married my best friend and the man of my dreams💕The most magical day ever surrounded by our favorite people… love wins!!” Emily wrote on Instagram at the time.
The origin of the pair’s relationship is not totally clear, but they both attended Ole Miss (The University of Mississippi). Q played football and ran track in college, while Emily was on the volleyball team, so they both ran in the school’s circle of athletes. He graduated in 2017, while she finished school in 2020.
Q proposed to Emily on the Ole Miss campus after a volleyball game in October 2018. It’s unclear exactly when they started dating, although Q made his first appearance on Emily’s Instagram in February 2018.
Who is Q Burdette’s wife?
In September 2023, Emily revealed that she was a certified physicians assistant, having completed her degree at Trevecca Nazarene University. She works at a psychiatric care facility in Tennessee.
Emily specializes in mental health and addiction medicine, according to her work bio, which notes that she “strives to help individuals regain control of their lives and achieve lasting recovery.”
Does Q Burdette have kids?
Yes, Q and Emily are proud parents to a son named Ace, who was born in July 2024, about a year after Q filmed his first season of Survivor in summer 2023.

Ahead of the Season 50 premiere of Survivor, the couple announced that they are now expecting their second child. On February 15, Emily confirmed she is pregnancy with a baby girl. “Surprise! Ace has a big announcement… he’s been promoted to big brother 🫡 ,” Q and Emily wrote in a joint Instagram post. “Party of 4 coming June! Over halfway there, baby girl 🎀.”
Based on the timing of baby’s due date, Emily was not pregnant while Q was filming Season 50 of Survivor in May 2025.
