The newly-released Scream 7, however, finds Sidney with a husband named Mark (Joel McHale). (Not to be confused with past love interest Mark Kincaid, who was played by Patrick Dempsey.)
Sidney’s dynamic with Ghostface is still going strong after 30 years, and Campbell’s off-screen relationship is as well. Who is Neve Campbell’s boyfriend?
Campbell’s longtime boyfriend is British-American actor JJ Feild. He has dozens of TV and film credits under his name, including Little Disasters, The Peripheral, Austenland, Northanger Abbey, and Captain America: The First Avenger. He’s also done stage work, playing the lead in the Bridge Theatre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream in 2025.
When asked about how he balances his work and personal life, he told Numero Netherlands, “It’s an adventure. And luckily, I have a family that enjoys the journey. Mountains are my sanctuary. Anything, in any season, on a mountain refuels my soul.”
How did Neve Campbell and JJ Feild meet?
Campbell and Feild are largely private, but Feild offered some details about the beginning of their relationship to ET Canada. “We met on a film that never happened. We were meant to do a film together many years ago, and we were studying to play musicians. And we were studying music at the Royal College of Music,” he said, explaining that they became friends through that and reconnected years later.

How long have Neve Campbell and J.J. Feild been together?
Campbell and the British actor reportedly got together in 2011, following Campbell’s divorce from actor John Light that year. She also was previously married to actor Jeff Colt in 1997.
Does Neve Campbell have kids?
Like Sidney, Campbell is a mom. She and Feild welcomed their son, Caspian, in 2012. Years later, they adopted their second son, Raynor. They announced his adoption on Instagram in June 2018. “His name is Raynor and we are madly in love with him,” the Scream actress wrote in the caption. “We’re so grateful for this beautiful light coming into our lives and we think of and are grateful to his birth family every day for such an incredible gift.”
Campbell gave rare insight into her family in 2023, and revealed if her kids had her love for ballet. (Campbell trained at Canada’s National Ballet School during her own childhood.) “I’ve taken Raynor [to see The Nutcracker], and Raynor loves dance, and has taken some ballet classes already. Absolutely loves it,” she said,
“Caspian, earlier on, had asked about ballet, as well, not even knowing that I had been a ballet dancer,” she added. “We did try, just for a minute, when we were in New York City, but it just took one bad teacher. It was like one teacher who was grumpy that day…”
The actress said her priorities have shifted since expanding her family. “When you have kids, everything else falls away, which is wonderful,” she told People in 2024. “It’s something greater than yourself.”
