Luke Thompson & Yerin Ha Guess the Quote: Is It ‘Bridgerton’ or ‘Pride & Prejudice’? (VIDEO)

When it comes to Bridgerton, one can’t help but think of other Regency era-set works, and when Yerin Ha told us back in 2024 that Luke Thompson was giving off “Darcy vibes” in Season 4, we just had to test their Pride & Prejudice knowledge.

Stopping by the Swooon studio, Ha and Thompson, who led Shondaland’s Netflix hit as Season 4’s main couple, Sophie and Benedict, agreed to play a delightful game in which they had to identify character quotes. Did Benedict or Sophie say it, or was it Elizabeth Bennet or Mr. Darcy?

What unfolds is a hilarious display of critical thinking as the stars put on their Jane Austen caps to try to weed out which pieces of dialogue belong to their characters and which were delivered by the 19th-century writer’s beloved characters. The results are sure to surprise as they go through various processes of elimination.

It couldn’t be a more appropriate time for such an exercise as Netflix gears up to release its own Pride & Prejudice series starring Emma Corrin and Jack Lowden. Additionally, with all of the Mr. Darcy comparisons that have been made throughout Benedict’s Season 4 run, it feels like no other concept would do when Thompson and Ha ventured their way to us in New York City.

And as fans who tuned into Season 4’s second half, they know Benedict has some seriously swoony lines akin to the classic character you’ll have to hear to believe.

As they play the game, the duo also shares silly anecdotes of their time on set, recalling how well they remember or may not remember each other’s lines and much more.
