Is ‘Gold Rush’ Star Monica Beets Still Married to Taylor Mayes?
Since 2014, Monica Beets has been appearing in episodes of Gold Rush alongside her father, Tony Beets. Tony owns one of the most successful mining operations in Canada, and mining has become a family business.

Yes, Monica and Taylor are still married. While she does not share updates about their life on Instagram, her profile photo is still an image from their 2018 wedding day, and there has been no indication that they ended their relationship.
In December 2025, Monica proved that she’s still going strong with her husband by commenting on a post about his job update. “What a good looking man!!!” she wrote.
While it’s unclear exactly how long Monica and Taylor have been together, they tied the knot in August 2018. The wedding aired on Gold Rush in 2019.

Yes, Monica and Taylor share one child, a baby girl. She was born in May 2021.

“My husband and I welcomed a beautiful girl into our lives in May of this year,” Monica confirmed on Instagram that November. While she does not share much about her child publicly, she has posted some photos of the toddler on social media.
Who is Taylor Mayes?
While little is known about Taylor Mayes, the December 2025 Facebook post confirmed that he works for the Whitehorse Fire Department.
“Taylor Mayes has served on the Dawson City Fire Department for the past 16 years, and is now moving to Whitehorse,” the post read. “We will miss his calm and steady demeanor and top-notch fire fighting skills. Thank you for your years of service to the community and the DCFD, and we wish you and your family all the best in your next adventure!”
