Who Is Kristen Kish’s Wife? Inside the ‘Top Chef’ Host’s Love Life
Kristen Kish is back for her third season as host of Top Chef when Season 23 premieres on Monday, March 9. The former Top Chef winner is fresh off her run on Season 4 of The Traitors, which has opened her up to an even broader audience in recent months.
Away from the cameras, Kish is in a relationship with Bianca Dusic, whom she married in 2021. “I used to never want to get married because less than 10 years ago, I wasn’t allowed to by way of the Supreme Court,” Kish admitted to Interview magazine in 2024. “But I’m now happily married to the greatest human to walk this earth.”

Who is Kristen Kish’s wife?
Dusic, who was born in Australia, is a certified hypnotherapist. Per her Instagram bio, she is also a breathwork and EFT practitioner, past-life regression therapist, homeopathy student, and holistic health coach.
According to her website, Dusic left Australia in her 20s and, after doing some traveling, moved to London where she worked as a teacher and at a restaurant. She eventually became a restaurant manager, then moved to the United States to continue her career in the restaurant industry.
However, after she was diagnosed with cancer in 2011, Dusic shifted her focus to “studying health and wellness, body work and other healing modalities.” When her dad died in 2020, and she began dealing with physical health issues while processing her grief, Dusic turned to hypnotherapy.
“Acupuncture and breathwork brought me back into my body and calmed my nervous system, and only then, after engaging these natural modalities, did I finally begin to heal and see clearly,” she shared.
Dusic now runs her wellness company beyondWithin, where she uses a “holistic approach that works to heal the body, mind and spirit, using natural means” for her clients. Dusic offers coaching, hypnosis, breathwork classes, and more.
How did Kristen Kish meet her wife?
Kish and Dusic met in 2018 when Kish was opening her restaurant Arlo Grey in Austin. The restaurant partnered with The Sydell Group, where Dusic was working as corporate director of food and beverage at the time. The women connected through this partnership.
In September 2019, Kish proposed to her now-wife. “She said YES to a lifetime of Sunday morning coffee dates and bed head,” the celebrity chef wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post.
Their wedding took place in April 2021 in their backyard. Many guests had to attend the ceremony via a video call due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We decided if getting married was what was most important then that is what we’ll do, just a bit differently,” Kish explained to Today. “Ultimately, we had our family [and were] doing what was the most important to us in our home. Small and intimate is our style. This was just even smaller, albeit different, yet more perfect than we could have ever imagined.”
When did Kristen Kish come out?
Kish came out as gay via an Instagram post in 2014. At the time, she was dating Jacqueline Westbrook, and her coming out post was in honor of their one-year anniversary.
“I’ve always known that I was gay,” she later told Austin Monthly. “And it was never my family or friends that made it feel not safe. It was 100% my own insecurity. What really happened was that I fell in love. I didn’t want to hide it anymore and I felt confident enough to say I’m gay because I had someone there with me. I wanted to walk down the street and hold someone’s hand. I wanted to be in love just like everyone else is allowed to be in love.”
Things didn’t work out between Kish and Westbrook, but she admitted she’ll “always be grateful to [her ex] for giving me that push I needed.”
