The cast of Bachelor Mansion Takeover features several Bachelor Nation stars, including two who share some bad blood.

The HGTV series follows 12 Bachelor Nation contestants with home renovation experience as they give the ABC dating franchise’s iconic mansion a much-needed makeover. Through weekly renovation and skills challenges, the cast will vote each other off until one remains and takes home the show’s $100,000 cash prize.

Among the show’s competitors are Allyshia Gupta and Jill Chin. While their paths didn’t cross on The Bachelor, they both appeared on Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise last year. However, their time on the show was anything but paradise, as romantic drama left the two starting their Bachelor Mansion Takeover journey on bad terms.

“Great. Allyshia is here,” Jill said in a confessional about Allyshia’s arrival during the show’s series premiere. “I met her on Paradise for all of three seconds. I think that she has personal beef with me, so my guard is definitely up.”

In her own confessional, Allyshia added, “Jill and I were on Paradise together. But coming into this, I definitely don’t trust Jill. I kind of get the vibe that she doesn’t like me, so, I don’t know. She’s very cold to me.”

When did Allyshia and Jill join Bachelor Nation?

Jill joined Bachelor Nation as a contestant on Clayton Echard‘s Season 26 of The Bachelor in 2022. She later appeared on Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise that same year, but chose to self-eliminate following her short-lived romance with Jacob Rapini.

Allyshia, meanwhile, briefly appeared on Grant Ellis‘ Season 29 of The Bachelor last year. After making a memorable impression on Night 1 in the Bachelor Mansion, Allyshia was unexpectedly sent home during Episode 2’s rose ceremony.

What happened between Allyshia and Jill on Bachelor in Paradise?

Jill joined the cast in Episode 2 and formed a connection with Sean McLaughlin when he arrived in Episode 3. Jill received Sean’s date card, and the two had a fun time riding ATVs through the jungle.

Though Jill and Sean weren’t the strongest couple in the cast, their connection took a turn for the worse when Allyshia arrived on the beach in Episode 5. “Allyshia, she’s young, she’s pretty, she’s blonde,” Jill said of Allyshia’s arrival in a confessional. “She seems right up some of these guys’ alley. I’m just not excited.”

Allyshia caught the attention of several guys, including Sean. Sean’s interest in Allyshia left Jill feeling insecure. “I’m just, like, third-wheeling, and I’m over it,” Jill tearfully stated in a confessional. “I don’t want to watch people fall in love. I want that for myself.”

Her and Sean’s lack of relationship progress and Allyshia’s arrival led Jill to choose to go home. “I’m gonna do you a huge solid and leave,” she told Sean in a one-on-one conversation. “I think you know we’re not gonna get married. And I have been the third, fourth, fifth, tenth wheel this entire time I’ve been here, and I don’t want to feel like that anymore. Jill and Sean appeared to end their journey on amicable terms, as he hugged her before she left the resort.

Sean and Allyshia’s relationship rubbed many of the contestants the wrong way as the season continued, as they became laser-focused on taking home the show’s $500,000 cash prize. Rather than ending their Paradise journey at the hands of their peers, they chose to send themselves home.

“Sean and I came into Paradise looking for love. We didn’t know what else it was going to entail, and the one thing we’re not willing to compromise is our character and integrity. And to have that questioned is very difficult to hear,” Allyshia stated during Episode 8’s rose ceremony. “But we would like to make the decision to leave together on our own accord. We are leaving here with something so much more valuable than money could ever buy, and we’ll continue our relationship back in Tampa and get a big, fat bucket of popcorn to watch this all back.”

Sean and Allyshia left Paradise together, but long-distance and career goals eventually led them to split. “We love each other. We’re best of friends and more than anything else, just the best of teammates, and we respect and care for one another,” Allyshia stated on a September 2025 episode of the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

Sean added, “I have my career, she has her career, and it does make it tough with the distance. But at the end of the day, we did walk away as the best of friends.”
