‘Summer House’: What Happened Between West Wilson & Ciara Miller?
It’s been more than two years since West Wilson and Ciara Miller dated on Season 8 of Summer House, but their split has continued to be a topic of conversation on the Bravo series. After Ciara mostly ignored West during Season 9, he’s been making progress in repairing their friendship on the show’s current 10th season.
Last week’s episode featured the aftermath of Jesse Solomon asking West if he’d care if he made out with Ciara, which has put Ciara and West’s past relationship back in headlines.

What happened between West Wilson and Ciara Miller?
Sparks flew between West and Ciara when he first joined the cast of Summer House during Season 8 (this was filmed in summer 2023 and aired in spring 2024). Worried that West was not in it for the long haul, Ciara was reluctant to give too much of herself to him that summer and did not sleep with him during filming.
However, the relationship continued after summer ended and Ciara admitted at the reunion that she ended up sleeping with West before their December 2023 split. Plus, she also accompanied West on a visit to his parents’ house and attended a wedding with him.
While West insisted he and Ciara never had a talk about being “exclusive,” he did confirm they were “dating” from September to December. “Basically, yeah,” he said on the Summer House reunion. “I don’t think we walked around saying boyfriend/girlfriend, but, I mean, basically, we hung out every day.”
Why did West Wilson and Ciara Miller split?
Ciara and West’s romance ended when she found out that he was talking to other girls while they were together. While he clarified that he stopped talking to other women “toward the end of [the] fall” prior to their December split, they were seemingly on different pages throughout the relationship.
“I stopped talking to [him] altogether,” Ciara admitted. “Because I think that’s mean to take someone to your parents’ house and want to sleep with them when you have no intention of doing anything.” The relationship officially ended during a December 2023 dinner, where West “thought [they] were on the same page,” but Ciara “went home crying.”
At the Season 8 reunion, West admitted that “show-related reasons” were why he wouldn’t commit to Ciara. “I’ve done a couple watch parties where people f**king show up and do whatever. That’s pictures and it’s … the Bravo fanbase is all women,” he explained. “There’s these random things that I’ve never experienced before. Not temptation, just … is that a s**tty look then to go these watch parties with women?”
Ciara responded to that by pointing out, “If you want to, you will. If you don’t, you won’t.” West then explained that he didn’t want to be just known as Ciara’s “newbie guy,” but assured Ciara that his feelings during their relationship were real.
After filming the reunion and prior to Season 9 in 2024, Ciara and West met up for dinner, after which Ciara felt like she was in a OK place with her ex. She then left to film The Traitors in spring 2024 and returned home to West’s New York Times profile, where he mentioned his regrets about how things were portrayed at the reunion.
Upon reading the piece, Ciara was upset that West seemed to care more about how the public viewed him than he did about their actual relationship. “I just felt like there were things that he said in that article that after we met up after the reunion he didn’t even say then,” Ciara explained on Watch What Happens Live. “I don’t need to read an article that ‘we’re not each other’s people’ and [how] it would have ‘read better’ if he said A, B, and C [at the reunion]. It was more about public perception.”
Considering this all happened right before the cast left to film Season 9, it made things quite awkward between them during filming.
Are Ciara Miller and West Wilson back together?
No, there is no concrete evidence to support that Ciara and West are back together.
However, DeuxMoi reported on March 7 that they were spotted together in New York City. This came amid other rumors that West is now “hooking up” with Amanda Batula, which Summer House star KJ Dillard shut down in an interview with Swooon.
