Eight months after announcing her separation, Today cohost Dylan Dreyer has filed for divorce from Brian Fichera. She filed the paperwork on March 10, People confirmed.

Back in July 2025, Dreyer revealed that she and Fichera had separated a “few months ago.” She wrote on Instagram, “For many years, I have shared my family with you all — the highs and lows, the ups and downs, and all of the blessings and beautiful memories in between,” she wrote. “I am incredibly grateful for the support and love you’ve given me through it all. For that reason, I want to share with you that a few months ago, Brian and I made the decision to separate.”

She added, “We began as friends, and we will remain the closest of friends. Most importantly, we will continue to co-parent our three wonderful boys together with nothing but love and respect for one another.”

The former couple shares three sons: Cal, Ollie, and Rusty. They have been dedicated to coparenting their children since their separation. Dreyer and Fichera married in 2012.

In November 2025, Dreyer opened up about her split while on Today with Jenna & Friends. “Everybody has their reasons for what leads to a separation or divorce. That’s another story with a lot of wine, and that’s a whole different thing, but either way we’ve gotten to this place,” she said. “And there’s something freeing, I think, for Brian and I, where — whatever reasons, whatever broke in a marriage — you could either fix it if you can, and ideally you would, and you try, and you try to fix things. Or you accept that it’s broken and you take this new step forward.”

The Today coanchor noted that she and her ex had acknowledged “there was something we couldn’t fix” in their marriage. “We are no longer husband and wife, and all those things that were broken, I don’t hold them against you because we’ve accepted they’re broken,” she went on to say. “That’s why we’re separated. So now let’s move forward as friends.”
