‘When Calls the Heart’s Erin Krakow & Ben Rosenbaum Have Date Night Before Baby’s Arrival

When Calls the Heart costars Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum, who are also happily married, are preparing for Season 14 and a new season of their lives: parenthood! The couple stepped out to celebrate When Calls the Heart and its prequel series, Hope Valley: 1874, on March 18.
Krakow and Rosenbaum announced they were expecting their first child in November 2025, just a few months after revealing that they’d gotten married. At the Hallmark event in Los Angeles, Krakow and Rosenbaum walked the red carpet and sweetly posed for photos together.
The actress wore a gorgeous purple dress and cradled her baby bump. Rosenbaum looked dapper in a brown suit. “Date night for Mom & Dad!” Krakow captioned an Instagram post that featured photos from the celebration. The couple’s Hallmark colleagues couldn’t help but show their love in the comments.
“The three of you are GLOWING,” Kayla Wallace, who plays Fiona on When Calls the Heart, wrote. Lacey Chabert added, “Gorgeous!”

Rosenbaum sweetly shared photos of Krakow in an Instagram post of his own and gushed, “Absolutely LOVED my view on the red carpet at the @hopevalley_1874 S1 premiere and @wcth_tv S13 finale event😍 Thank you for a wonderful evening out before baby arrives.” Talk about husband goals! Krakow responded, “Ben!!! 🥹”

The When Calls the Heart Season 13 finale will air on March 22. The long-running Hallmark series has already been renewed for Season 14.
When the cast reunites on set, they’ll be welcoming three new members of the WCTH family. In addition to Krakow and Rosenbaum’s baby, Wallace and Kevin McGarry are also expecting their first child, and Chris McNally and wife Julie Gonzalo are expecting their second.
“We are so excited,” Krakow previously told Swooon about the When Calls the Heart baby boom. “We’re very close friends, and so the fact that we’re all going to have babies around the same age, I mean, within six weeks, I think, of each other, it’s just the most delightful surprise.”
