“He’s my perfect guy who loves his privacy, and I respect that,” De Silva once wrote on her blog. “He’s supportive, encouraging, and always by our side. I admit, he’s a terrible Instagram husband, but other than that, we’re thick as thieves.”
She also made sure to note that Craig is “very involved when it comes to his family, and I think he should win an award for father of the year!”

De Silva met Craig during a trip to Costa Rica in 2009. She was on a 10-day trip with her girlfriends, but it wasn’t until the last night that she met her future husband.
“I met him at a swim-up bar of a private resort that I randomly found during our stay,” De Silva previously shared in a blog post. “He was on a work trip, and I had the world’s worst attitude. I can’t lie, I was a little hungover from the night before and suffered from a lack of personality due to my self-inflicting sickness. My head was killing me, and I was in no mood to make small talk with a guy I didn’t know.”
After a few minutes of conversation, Craig “insulted” De Silva, which made her laugh and caught her attention. “I admired the fact that he was funny since I love to laugh,” she explained. “The more we chatted, the more I realized that we had a lot in common.”
Since Craig was from Canada and De Silva lived in New York City, the relationship was long-distance at first. De Silva was admittedly hesitant about jumping into the relationship because Craig was so sweet, which was “different” from the men she’d previously dated. “I put my self-sabotaging ways to the side and gave him a chance because I deserved to be courted and adored as we all do,” she added.

Yes, De Silva and Craig are parents to two children. They welcomed both of their kids before their 2017 wedding.
The pair’s first child, daughter London, was born on September 6, 2011, when they were still in a long-distance relationship. However, De Silva explained on her blog that they “made it work.”
