The Pitt cast’s WAGs (a.k.a. wives and girlfriends) keep landing themselves in the ER. Not literally, of course. Since the HBO medical drama began in 2025, several primary cast members have shared the screen with their significant others. It just so happens that a number of the cast’s real-life loves also work in the entertainment biz. In fact, Nurse Dana actress Katherine LaNasa is the only cast member who hasn’t brought their actor partner — Grant Show — onto the show as a guest star yet.

Early on in Season 2, Patrick Ball played opposite his girlfriend, whose character super-glued her eye shut. A few episodes later, another actor’s wife appeared as a wellness trend-obsessed patient. Several others have popped up in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center (with various health issues) over the past two seasons of The Pitt, so we thought it was about time we recapped them all. Let us know your favorite performance in the comments at the end of the page!

Appears in Season 2, Episode 13

Sara Wyle (née Wells) is the most recent The Pitt SO to appear in the show. She didn’t share any scenes with husband Noah Wyle‘s Dr. Robby, interacting instead with Dr. Santos (Isa Briones) and Dr. McKay (Fiona Dourif). Sara’s character is Ashley Davis, who gets all of her health advice from social media. She starts experiencing health issues when she takes an incorrect dosage of turmeric.

“I know everyone, but I still sent in a tape to show them I can actually do this. We went through every rung of the ladder before I got the part,” Sara, who’s been married to her actor husband since 2014, told USA Today. “[Wyle] said, ‘Just go have fun.’ He could tell I was a bit nervous because this is his sandbox. I wanted to make sure I honored the show and brought my A-game.”

Elysia Roorbach

Appears in Season 2, Episodes 2 and 4

Elysia Roorbach, who’s been dating Langdon actor Patrick Ball since 2023, plays the recurring role of Willow Baptiste in Season 2. During the July 4th weekend, her character accidentally uses superglue to apply a fake eyelash. Dr. Langdon treats Willow, who doesn’t trust him and asks for Dr. J (the influencer alter ego of Dr. Javadi) instead.

Fittingly, Roorbach and Ball met while they worked together on a play, Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, in Miami. “Which is a really interesting way to meet somebody and then fall in love with somebody,” Roorbach remarked to USA Today. Roorbach auditioned for a part in The Pitt Season 1, but didn’t land it. Ball told HELLO! that he had “nothing to do with” his girlfriend appearing in Season 2.
“It was a dream,” Ball added. “We get to turn around and play pretend together again: I get to be her doctor, and [her character] wanted nothing to do with me, and that also felt right.

When she got the part, Roorbach was told she’d share the screen with her boyfriend. “But I didn’t know I had like five scenes with Patrick,” she explained to USA Today. “It was so special that I’d come from hair and make-up and my scene partner would walk in, and it was Patrick.”

Sarah Jane Morris

Appears in Season 1, Episodes 14 and 15

Sarah Jane Morris may be the real-life wife of Nurse Jesse actor Ned Brower, but her character has a romantic history with another The Pitt character. In Season 1, she plays Robby’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of his stepson, Jake. Morris reflected on her set experience via Instagram.

“It was electric being part of something this big after many many months of auditioning in what felt like a void,” Morris wrote. “I am so grateful to @sethcaskey and @cathysandrich and @ericabrgr for their continued support over the years and for bringing me in not once, not twice but three times for different roles but this one was the one!”

She continued, “It was a first being on set for so many hours with my real life husband and having lunch together and side by side dressing rooms after months of hardly seeing him, but it was sweet! And then we got to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in Mexico City together (pics forthcoming-been on a bit of an IG break). Hope everyone enjoys these last two episodes! What a joy to get to see it from the inside!”

Kelly Albanese

Appears in Season 2, Episode 1

Kelly Albanese, who married Dr. Abbot actor Shawn Hatosy in 2010, has a small role in Season 2’s premiere episode. Her character, Mrs. Burgess, gets on Robby’s nerves during the first hour of his shifts. She’s the wife of a man who came to the ER for leg cramps. She has a dog in her bag, as well as a supply of supplements she gives to her husband.

“My wife, Kelly, auditioned and happened to get the part; she has her stage name, which is different than my last name,” Hatosy told HELLO!. “I didn’t get to work with her, though, because Abbot, for some reason, doesn’t appear in the first couple of episodes!”
