As arguably the biggest breakout star from all four seasons of Love on the Spectrum, Connor recently shocked viewers by revealing that he plans to exit the series ahead of Season 5. He sat down with Swooon to break down his Season 4 split, including everything that went down off-camera between his trip to London with Georgie Harris, and letting his friends know that they had split during Madison Marilla and Tyler White‘s engagement party.
According to Connor, he knew early on during his trip home from England that he needed to break up with Georgie. He explained, “On the flight back from England, I told myself, ‘[You’ve] got to do it, Connor. There’s no other option. It’s the only way you’re ever going to be happy.'”
However, their split came shortly after that trip, when Connor traveled to Canada to film his acting debut in Brilliant Minds. “Funny story, I was in Canada at the time, working on the show Brilliant Minds,” he revealed. “I tried calling Georgie on the phone, [but] the words just got caught in my throat, so I told her over text instead. And, well, let’s just say she didn’t take it well.” Don’t worry, Connor let us know that he’s still friends with Georgie today.

After Season 4 aired, Georgie revealed that she started dating a close friend who asked her out after her breakup with Connor. Naturally, this led fans to question whether Connor is seeing someone new as well. When asked if he’d been on any dates since their split, Connor responded, “Not even one. Because I knew if I did, it would most likely lead to scandal… I’m a lot of things, but I’m neither reckless nor stupid.”
In fact, Connor was so secretive about Season 4, he told Swooon that he wore his Claddagh ring with the heart pointing in, so that no one would suspect that he and Georgie had broken up. Traditionally, a Claddagh ring is worn on the right hand with the heart pointing in to signify that you are in a relationship, and out to signify that you are single. “But now, finally, yes, ladies, I am very single,” he exclaimed, showing us the new position of his ring.
While his relationship with Georgie may not have ended the way he had hoped, Connor revealed that the next time around he’d “like to date a woman who’s mature, serious, open-minded, understanding, yet still compassionate, caring, thoughtful, funny, sweet, but not like teasing-funny. I just want someone on my level, who’s still very attractive.”
Even though Connor has revealed he will no longer be dating on our screens, we’re eager to find out what’s next in his love life and beyond.
