What To Know

  • Swooon has an exclusive first look at Farmer Wants a Wife Season 4, which premieres on April 21.
  • The new farmers — Brett Maverick, Braden Pridemore, and Sean Cavanaugh — each share their hopes for finding a lifelong partner.
  • Host Kimberly Williams-Paisley teases “new romantic excitement” in the “best season yet.”

Farmer Wants a Wife host Kimberly Williams-Paisley declares that Season 4 of the reality dating show is the “best one yet.” In Swooon’s exclusive first look at the upcoming season, which premieres on April 21, the three new farmers reveal what they’re looking for in a forever partner.

In a major change from past seasons, the show will only focus on three farmers in Season 4. Paisley loves the switch-up because it allows the show to “dive into the stories even more.”

Brett Maverick, a rancher and former rodeo athlete, is “gentle” and “stoic,” according to Paisley. After being a bull rider and entrepreneur, the “next step” for Brett is to find his best friend and marry her. “I’m ready to find a wife,” he says.

Braden Pridemore, a corn and soybean farmer, candidly says that he wears his heart on his sleeve. He also sings a little bit of country music, so he’s taking the swoon factor up a notch. “I have everything I want in life except one thing, and that’s somebody to share it with,” Braden admits. When it comes to one of his biggest green flags, Braden reveals it’s all about being “a little bold.”

Sean Cavanaugh is a produce farmer who owns a farm-to-table restaurant in California. He’s only 22, but Sean is ready to settle down. “I’m looking for a girl that’s adventurous and a future wife at the same time,” he says.

When you have a bundle of women competing for the love of the same farmer, there’s bound to be some drama. One of the single ladies is unsure if another girl’s “intentions are pure” when it comes to Farmer Wants a Wife. Another contestant tells one of the producers that she would “love to talk to another farmer.” Sounds like she didn’t hit it off with one of the three leading men!

Paisley teases that there’s a “new romantic excitement” in Season 4. The host promises that all three farmers “find love” in the end, but will it last?
