Joshua Morrow has been making us swoon playing Nick Newman on The Young and the Restless for over 30 years, but at his core, the actor just loves being a family man. The soap veteran has been happily married to his wife, Tobe, for over two decades, and they’ve welcomed four children, including The Bold and the Beautiful star Crew Morrow.

When he’s not on the CBS soap, Morrow prefers to stay out of the public eye. (He has an Instagram but has never posted.) The actor sat down on the Soapy podcast with Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart to open up about his family life and the realization he had upon meeting his wife.

Morrow reflected on the early days of his acting career and how he loved the schedule being an actor provided for him. “And then I met my wife, and I realized the thing I wanted more than anything, it was not to be an actor. It was to be a dad. And I was like, this schedule really suits me having a bunch of kids and coaching them,” he said on the podcast.

The Alaska native and his wife married in 2001. She owns Morrow & Co., a boutique interior design firm. Cooper was born in 2002, followed by Crew in 2005, Cash in 2008, and Charlie Jo in 2012. All of them have been involved in sports, with Morrow being their #1 fan.

Morrow’s son, Crew, joined B&B back in 2024 as Will Spencer. The Y&R star raved that his son’s “drive and ambition is so much bigger than mine. He has huge dreams. Whereas, I was just like, ‘I’m making a lot of money, living a great life, and filling my apartment filled with Star Wars figurines and tennis shoes.'”

The actor revealed that Crew has since moved out of the family home and into his own place. Crew’s mom (and Morrow’s wife) decorated the apartment with furniture, but Crew “got rid of it” because he’s a “motorcycle-riding, surfing monk writer guy.”
