Who is Tega Alexander?
Before he moved over to acting, Alexander was primarily a content creator. The Nigerian internet personality has amassed over 800,000 followers on TikTok. He built up his following during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to an interview with Tmrw Magazine. He earned a spot in Dazed Magazine’s Icons in the Making feature and hosted the House of Gucci premiere red carpet.
“My content varies, from fashion to lifestyle to comedy to entertainment,” Alexander told Dazed. “I’m just here to bring good vibes.”
Alexander, who lives in London, is also a dancer and musician. “Dance was one of the first things that propelled me into creativity,” the creative told Bowers & Wilkins. “The relationship you form with dance and the self-exploration that dance actually takes you on allows you to connect with so many other art forms as well.”

In 2022, Alexander still considered himself an aspiring actor, according to his Tmrw interview. “I kind of fell into dancing 14 years ago, and I have always had a creative mind frame, so I learnt how to film and edit,” he said. “And it kicked off from there really. With the new digital age, I just wanted to capitalize on the platform.”
What has Tega Alexander been in before?
Bridgerton is Alexander’s most prominent role to date, but you can watch him in a few episodes of Guy Ritchie’s MOBLAND and Hulu’s Red Eye. He’s also no Netflix newbie: He appears in The Witcher’s latest season as Captain Stade and The Sandman as Theo. According to his IMDb page, he’s set to appear in the upcoming sci-fi movie One Second After, but it’s not officially confirmed.
