Stephen Colletti Reveals Wife Alex Weaver’s Reaction to ‘Laguna Beach’

Stephen Colletti is back in the spotlight and reliving his high school days on The Reunion: Laguna Beach. Of course, that includes his famous love triangle with Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad, which ultimately became the main storyline on Season 1 of the beloved MTV series Laguna Beach.
More than 20 years later, Colletti, while on good terms with both Cavallari and Conrad, is a married man. He tied the knot with his wife Alex Weaver in October 2025, four years after they met when he slid into her DMs. But what does Weaver think about her husband reminiscing on his teen years?
“She’s been supportive. She’s happy to see everyone come together to be able to do this,” Colletti told Swooon. “It feels like a positive experience for everyone to be involved and have this moment celebrating the show and celebrating how far everyone’s come. She’s happy for us, and she knows everyone. A lot of us are still friends and see each other all the time.”
When Weaver first got a DM from Colletti, she had heard of Laguna Beach, but had never seen an episode. “She didn’t know too much [about me], and I think that was a good thing,” Colletti admitted. “I’m like, ‘Don’t watch the show. It’s a different person.'”
Eventually, Weaver did catch a few episodes, but she hasn’t watched the series all the way through, Colletti revealed. “She’s like, ‘I’ve picked up enough. I understand the program,'” he laughed, adding, “She gives me a hard time for some of the choices I made back in the day, but she’s happy to see I’ve grown up since then. She’s supportive off all of us and happy to make fun of any sort of image or picture of me from back in the day where I look like a little twig and punk kid from California.”
Colletti and Weaver are currently expecting their first child, and he gushed over how his wife has been “killing it” during her pregnancy. “I’ve just been a whole other level of attractiveness to her, just seeing her handle this and take it on,” he shared. “We’re ready to meet our little human and see how our lives are completely turned upside down and how we’re going to navigate the fact that the priority is going to be off of us for the foreseeable future with our family. We’re ready for the big change that’s going to happen.”
