On June 23, Pedro revealed that he proposed to his girlfriend, Valentina Malagon, whom he introduced to viewers during the Season 5 Tell All of 90 Day: The Single Life. In a video message to TLC’s viewers, the 90 Day Fiancé star revealed, “Me and Valentina, we got a big, big announcement to tell you because we are engaged! And we’re going to get married.”
Pedro also revealed that he proposed to Valentina in Hawaii, leading Valentina to admit, “I was very surprised.” On the day of the proposal, Pedro told Valentina he was taking her to the best restaurant in Hawaii, only to drive an hour away to the middle of nowhere. “She was pissed because she was hungry, but I got it done.”
In the caption of their video, shared by 90 Day Fiancé‘s official Instagram page, along with Pedro and Valentina, he wrote a “special message for his fiancée,” sharing, “Today we’re not just celebrating a ‘yes.’ We’re celebrating the moment when two paths, two stories, and two dreams decided to become one forever. Valentina came into my life as an answer, as a blessing that God placed on my path to show me that true love isn’t something you search for… it’s something you recognize.”
He continued, “With her, I learned that peace also has a name, that home can live in a single look, and that the future is built hand in hand with the person who lifts you up, honors you, and loves you with truth. Today, our greatest story begins: a story of faith, purpose, and a love that never gives up.”

At the end of the announcement, Pedro shared, “We want to plan the wedding very soon.” He also admitted, “She wants the wedding in Colombia, I want the wedding in the DR.” Of course, the United States is always an option for the couple as well.
