Spotify Wrapped 2025
Spotify

Spotify Wrapped is finally here, but this year, we can confirm that the annual listening rewind is better than ever. That’s because, for the first time, Spotify Wrapped 2025 includes the site’s vast library of audiobooks.

On December 3, Spotify revealed, “This year, for the first time, Spotify is excited to introduce Audiobooks Wrapped for consumers! Users can now instantly dive into and share their personalized listening stats via customized social share cards highlighting top audiobook, top audiobook genre, total audiobook listens, [and] a message from your top authors.”

Spotify also let us know that Romance was the fourth-most-listened-to genre globally, falling just below Fiction & Literature, Mystery & Thriller, and Sci-Fi & Fantasy (in that order). That being said, out of Spotify’s Top 10 most-listened-to audiobooks of the year, nine contain epic love stories. Note: Shari Franke’s autobiography, The House of My Mother, came in sixth on Spotify’s Top 10 list. Our list is limited to only romance/romantic novels.

From the top author of the year to Sarah J. Maas to the top global narrator, Julia Whelan, it’s clear that Spotify listeners’ love for romance runs deep. Find out the Top 9 most-listened-to audiobooks from around the globe in 2025 below!
