Netflix has found a new batch of Eternal Singles for Better Late Than Single Season 2. The Korean dating show made a splash with Season 1 last year with its unique premise: Men and women who have never dated before live together for nine days. Before they start making connections with each other, the participants receive makeovers and dating advice. Celebrity hosts Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the Garden guide viewers along the way.
“While the male singles stole the spotlight last season, the women are completely holding their own this time around. Expect unfiltered, uninhibited moves from the female cast,” producer Won Seung-jae told Netflix. “If Season 1 was closer to an ‘educational program’ where viewers cheered for personal growth and smiled at endearing clumsiness, Season 2 has evolved into a real, high-stakes dating show.”
Now that Better Late Than Single has upped its game, we’re sure you’re eager to learn more about the new cast as episodes roll out this month. Scroll below for the Eternal Singles’ ages and background details. Plus, see their before-and-after makeover photos!

Kim Jae-Seo
Age: 32
Kim Jae-Seo has worked on the video game Battlegrounds for eight years, and he graduated with a degree in math from a top tech school. He drifted away from dating because he’s always at the office.
“My looks aren’t exactly in right now,” he added before his makeover, which was the most dramatic of the season. “I’ve been told that I was born in the wrong era. People are trying to age in reverse with this whole slow aging trend, I’ve managed to do the complete opposite and fast-track my aging instead.”

Choi Hyuk-joon
Age: 31
Choi Hyuk-joon is overly cautious when it comes to dating. He had his heart broken by his first love, who strung him along only to eventually tell him she had a boyfriend. Now, he’s afraid of trusting someone and getting hurt.
One of the dating coaches told Hyuk-joon to let go of his “dismissive-avoidant mask.” As part of his transformation, Hyuk-joon also did training to make his voice deeper, which was an insecurity he had before the show.

His dating coach helped him through several blind dates as part of his makeover.

Choi Hyun-seo
Age: 27
Choi Hyun-seo thinks her life-long singleness is due to her being a more mellow, low-energy person.
“I’m pretty intensely obsessed with anime and manga,” Hyun-seo said in her introduction. “Also, I attended arts middle and high school, so I haven’t really had many chances to meet men who aren’t 2D.” She explained that she likes guys who resemble her favorite characters.

Lee Han-ju

Lee Han-ju is a Korean medicine doctor who treats patients through acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Chuna Manual Therapy. “Despite my occupation, I don’t think I look half bad,” she said. She didn’t get a physical makeover.
