Showmance Alert! ‘Big Brother’ Season 27 Cast Breakdown on Who’s Single & Who’s Not
Summer is showmance season, and romance is anything but unexpected on Big Brother.
On July 8, CBS released the 16 members of the Big Brother Season 27 cast. Among the houseguests are a bull rider, an aura artist, and a dungeon master, all looking to win the competition — and (potentially) find love along the way.
Julie Chen tells Big Brother fans to “expect the unexpected,” but here at Swooon, we’re already on high alert for any and all showmances because, if you ask us, showmances are absolutely the name of the game in the Big Brother house.
Before the Season 27 houseguests head into the house on July 10, we’ve done a deep dive into their love lives in order to predict who’s most likely to enter a showmance this summer.

Ava Pearl
Relationship Status: Taken
Ava Pearl is a 24 year old aura portrait from New York City who owns some very cool hats, if we do say so ourselves. In her Houseguest interview, Ava said “hell no” to showmances, stating that “there is no showmance in the cards” for her because she has a boyfriend, and “all the guys that [she likes] would not pass the background check to get on [Big Brother.]”
Mickey Lee
Relationship Status: Single
Mickey Lee is an event curator based in Atlanta, Georgia. Mickey wants to be “a girl’s girl” in the house, so that other contestants won’t see her as a threat. During her Houseguest interview, Mickey claimed, “I will definitely not be in a showmance. That is not happening for me.” According to the sparkle-clad girl’s girl, she is here to win, not to find a husband.
Amy Bingham
Relationship Status: Single
Amy Bingham is an insurance agent from Stockton, California. According to Amy, her dream for the season is to have the women to stick together and knock out the men. While she is looking forward to a women’s alliance, Amy revealed that she is “so down” for a showmance.
Ashley Hollis
Relationship Status: Single
Ashley Hollis is a former pageant queen turned attorney who is “ready to get blood on [her] hands and take these people out.” From Day 1, Ashley plans on clocking who is flirting with who, even if she is the one doing the flirting. According to her Houseguest interview, Ashley said she is certainly open to being in a showmance and knocking out any others.
Isaiah "Zae" Frederich
Relationship Status:
Isaiah “Zae” Frederich is a 23-year-old from Utah with “zero strategy” going into the BB house. However, he did reveal during his Houseguest interview, “My intention is not to enter a showmance.” As Zae put it, a showmance could put his chances of winning in jeopardy, so it’s not worth it. He went as far as to say that he would be “surprised” if there were a woman in the house worth sacrificing the prize for. Not gonna lie, that sounds like the start of a beautiful love story to us…
Morgan Pope
Relationship Status: Single
Morgan Pope is a 33-year-old model and gamer based in Los Angeles, California who can’t wait to “bring the hot and steaming tea.” When it comes to a showmance, Morgan is “open for it.” She noted, “What’s the worst thing that could happen… Looking at a cute guy all summer doesn’t sound too bad to me.”
Lauren Domingue
Relationship Status: Single
Lauren Domingue is a bridal consultant from Lafayette, Louisiana. If she can use it to her advantage, she is open to entering a showmance. However, the BB Superfan would only enter a relationship if it would further her game. In reality, she plans on crushing her enemies in the house during the competitions.
Kelley Jorgensen
Relationship Status: Taken
Kelley is a web designer and solo traveler from a small town in South Dakota who prides herself in having “farm kid grit.” She plans on killing her fellow houseguests with kindness by being everyone’s friend. That being said, she is in “a very happy relationship with [her] boyfriend of 8 months,” so it is safe to say a showmance is not in the cards for Kelley.
Keanu Soto
Relationship Status: Single
Keanu Soto is a personal trainer and nutritionist from McKinney, Texas. During his Houseguest interview, he sighted a background in improv as an asset in the BB house. Keanu is also a Dungeon Master for the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons. When it comes to a showmance, Keanu is “Team No-mance” because he does not need an Achilles’ heel.
Katherine Woodman
Relationship Status: Single
Katherine Woodman is a fine dining server from Columbia, South Carolina. One of her main skills is keeping a straight face even if she doesn’t like someone. In her Houseguest interview, Katherine shared that she “could be open to” a showmance this summer. While she won’t be seeking it, she wouldn’t turn away the extra fun.
Jimmy Heagerty
Relationship Status: Taken
Jimmy Heagerty is a strategy consultant from Washington, D.C. who is ready to play to win. Outside of the game, Jimmy has a long-term boyfriend named Sean. It’s safe to say the strategist will not be entering a showmance this summer.
Rylie Jeffries
Relationship Status: Single
Rylie Jeffries is a 27-year-old professional bull rider from Luther, Oklahoma, who looks like he stepped off the set of Farmer Wants a Wife. Rylie comes from a family of Big Brother superfans, who is “here to win.” When it comes to a showmance (or love in general), he is looking for “the same amount of genuine love and care” that he is able to bring to the table.
Vince Panaro
Relationship Status: Unclear
Vince Panaro is a 34-year-old from Los Angeles, California, who is currently unemployed. As a BB superfan, being on the show “doesn’t feel real.” From the mustachioed houseguest’s Houseguest interview, it is unclear if he is in a relationship or if he is willing to enter a showmance.
Zach Cornell
Relationship Status: Single
Zach Cornell is a marketing manager from Atlanta, Georgia. According to Zach, he is a pastor’s kid and believes that he is “the full package.” He also admits that he wants to know everyone’s “deepest, darkest secrets.” Zach is “gearing up for very beautiful women to come into the house.” When it comes to a showmance, Zach is open.
Cliffton "Will" Williams
Relationship Status: Taken
Cliffton “Will” Williams is a women’s basketball podcast host from Charlotte, North Carolina, who spent over 20 years in the military. He just turned 50, so he wants to be the oldest person to win the show. He hopes to create a team or “starting lineup” when he enters the house. However, he is not looking for a showmance as he appears to be in a relationship, citing his five kids and nine grandkids.
Adrian Rocha
Relationship Status: Single
Adrian Rocha is a 23-year-old carpenter from San Antonio, Texas, who wants to become the greatest Big Brother player of all time. If you hadn’t guessed, he is a superfan. Seems like Adrian will be a little too busy strategizing to enter a showmance. “In Big Brother we have pretty faces, but to be fair you can get that anywhere,” he said in his Houseguest interview.
