In Netflix’s Blue Therapy, seven British couples enlisted the help of therapist Karen Doherty to work through their issues on camera. Said issues are wide-ranging: While some partners had to confront past infidelity, others addressed topics like financial insecurity. In every case, Doherty was there to help them work out their grievances. The therapist’s sessions either made their relationships stronger in the end, or they forced the couples to realize they were better off apart.
In the eighth and final episode of the season, each couple gave an update on their relationship five months later, revealing whether they stayed together or were unable to overcome their issues. Swooon has checked the cast’s social media to see the latest developments in their relationships. Find out if Kelvin and Debbie, Mons and Shay, Mike and Yasmin, and more Blue Therapy couples have parted ways or held strong since filming. (Warning: Spoilers for Blue Therapy Season 1 ahead!)

Daisy & Jay
Status: Split
When we meet Daisy and Jay, we learn they’ve had an on-and-off relationship for years and are raising their one-year-old daughter. Daisy feels like her boyfriend doesn’t take enough responsibility as a parent, while Jay thinks Daisy is holding onto the past and resentment. After confronting more issues in therapy, including mutual distrust, the couple decides to part ways.
In the end, the dealbreaker was that they couldn’t agree about having more kids. Daisy wanted to stop at one, but Jay didn’t. Looking at their Instagrams, their relationship status doesn’t appear to have changed since filming, since they’re rarely pictured together. They follow each other, so they’re likely continuing to coparent.

Debbie & Kelvin
Status: Still Together
Debbie and Kelvin, who had been together for five years at the time of filming, went on the show to address Debbie’s feelings of being overlooked in favor of Kelvin’s work. In the final episode’s five-month check-in, they shared that they’re still together and feel they’ve grown as a couple. In fact, Kelvin said that Debbie had gotten busier with her job, so he understood what she was going through.
Looking at their Instagrams, Debbie and Kelvin still follow each other, though they haven’t posted photos together in a while. So, their current, post-show relationship status isn’t totally clear, but until they say otherwise, you can likely assume they’re still together.

Mons & Shay
Status: Still Together (?)
Mons and Shay, a couple of two years, went to therapy to address their trust issues. Shay had cheated on Mons in the past, and Shay was concerned that Mons, who expressed feelings of isolation, was too dependent on their relationship.
In the final episode, they revealed that they decided to stick with therapy and each other. Presently, however, their status is a bit murkier. On Instagram, Shay doesn’t follow Mons, but Mons follows Shay. We’ll have to wait for an update from the reality stars themselves.

Dami & Jermaine
Status: Still Together
Dami and Jermaine confirmed that things were going well between them at the end of the show, crediting therapy for giving them a greater understanding of each other. They went into therapy with 12 years together under their belt, as well as two children. Dami and Jermaine both felt like their needs weren’t being met since Dami became a stay-at-home mom, while Jermaine was focused on his business. They appear to still be going strong, per social media.

Status: Still Together
Engaged couple Mike and Yasmin, who share a child together, went to therapy to address Mike’s lack of financial stability. During their end-of-show update, the couple confirmed that things were going well between them, with Mike landing a job as a postman. The biggest news, though? They revealed that they were expecting another baby! They have a joint Instagram, where they share glimpses of their family life, so it’s safe to say that they’re still together.

Junior & Carmen
Status: Still Together
Junior and Carmen, who share three kids, had been together for 20 years when they started therapy, though a past separation and communication issues strained their relationship. At the end of the show, they held hands as they explained that they were going to continue therapy.
