Emily & Marcello

Status: Still Together

Emily meets Marcello, a charming Italian businessman, on the slopes of the French Alps in Episode 6. Two episodes later, they reconnect at a polo match, and Emily takes Marcello up on his offer of a romantic getaway to Rome. When she gets acquainted with his luxury cashmere business, Emily signs them as a client and is appointed the head of Agence Grateau’s new Rome office, which keeps Marcello in her orbit.

Emily & Gabriel

Status: Broken Up

Though Emily and the French chef do get to be together and admit their love for each other in Season 4, it doesn’t pan out in the end. It gets complicated when Gabriel finds out that Camille (Camille Razat) is pregnant with his child. (She isn’t really, we find out later.) He’s also busy trying to get a Michelin star for his restaurant. Feeling not high on Gabriel’s priority list, Emily ends things during their Alps trip in Episode 6. However, once Gabriel gets the acclaim he’s always wanted, he realizes that he wants Emily in his life. He’s heading to Rome at the end of the season, presumably to get her back.

Emily & Alfie

Status: Broken Up

Emily and Alfie are seemingly in the rear-view mirror. After getting together in Season 2, it wasn’t looking good in the Season 3 finale when Camille aired out Gabriel’s feelings for Emily. Alfie broke things off after that, but there was some will-they-won’t-they-get-back-together action until Episode 3’s masquerade ball. Alfie saw Emily choose Gabriel over him. Three episodes later, Alfie tells Emily that he’s meeting his new girlfriend’s family, which makes a freshly-single Emily later burst into tears.

Paul Forman as Nicolas De Leon, Ashley Park as Mindy in episode 401 of Emily in Paris.
Netflix

Mindy & Nico

Status: Broken Up

Mindy got into a love triangle of her own with her old boarding school pal (and JVMA heir) Nicholas (Paul Forman) and her bandmate Benoît (Kevin Dias). Worried about how she might affect his public image, Nico asks Mindy to drop out of Eurovision, but she refuses. He manages to get her kicked out of the competition out of spite, which ends their relationship.

Mindy & Benoît

Status: Broken Up

Mindy and Benoît technically aren’t together in Season 4, which focuses solely on the former’s romance with Nico. They’re together in Season 3, but Benoît gets insecure over Mindy’s then-friendship with Nico. He also refuses to let her use their band’s song for a commercial, and it all comes together to create the perfect storm. They end things. However, as they’re preparing for Eurovision in Season 4, the bandmates have to play up the romance, which makes for some tension, but nothing comes of it. Mindy is more focused on her solo career by the end of the season.

Gabriel & Camille

Status: Broken Up

Gabriel and Camille’s relationship starts to fall apart before Season 4, when the latter calls off their engagement. Camille tries to make things work with Sofia (Melia Kreiling) in Paris, but Sofia returns to Greece when she becomes unhappy with their living right next door to Gabriel. Camille discovers she isn’t, in fact, pregnant with Gabriel’s child. but she puts off telling him so she won’t be alone. He turns Camille’s offer to create a family together down, so Camille plans on adopting on her own by the end of Season 4.

Emily in Paris. (L to R) Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Arnaud Binard as Laurent in Emily in Paris.
Stephanie Branchu / Netflix

Sylvie & Laurent

Status: Unclear

The status of Sylvie’s open marriage is constantly unclear, so bear with us. In Season 3, the marketing exec decides to give their marriage with Laurent (Arnaud Binard) another try, but their situation becomes complicated when she discovers he has a child, Geneviève, played by Thalia Besson, with another woman. Sylvie makes it work by giving Geneviève a job, but doubts about Laurent creep into Sylvie’s mind when she finds out he’s been visiting Geneviève’s mom in New York. So, Sylvie reconnects with an old flame, Giancarlo (Raoul Bova), in Rome.

Emily in Paris. (L to R) Bruno Gouery as Luc, Laurence Gormezano as Marianne in episode 405 of Emily in Paris.
Stephanie Branchu / Netflix

Luc & Marianne

Status: Unclear

One of the less serious relationships of Emily in Paris, Season 4 puts Luc (Bruno Gouery) with Marianne (Laurence Gormezano), who he believes is a Michelin inspector who can help Gabriel’s restaurant. When she’s revealed as a fraud, it leaves the fate of their relationship in question by the end of Season 4.

Samuel Arnold as Julian and Yassin Chekkouh as Dominque in Emily in Paris Season 4 Episode 6
Netflix

Julian & Dominique

Status: Just Casual

Julian (Samuel Arnold) doesn’t have much in the way of romance in Emily in Paris. Season 4’s Episode 6 introduces Julian’s casual “Christmas” boyfriend (Yassin Chekkouh) at a party, but Julian’s freaked out by the prospect of getting more serious with Dominique. Dominique says he’s thinking of moving to Paris, but Julian’s not very into that idea. The show doesn’t reveal much else about their relationship, so it’s likely just casual going into Season 5.
