The Formula 1 2026 season is off to the races, with the Australian Grand Prix kicking things off on Sunday, March 8. Quite a few drivers had their wives or girlfriends by their sides at the event, per usual. Popular competitors like Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, Lando Norris, and Carlos Sainz will all have significant others cheering them on from the sidelines over the next few months. It’s only natural if you’ve wondered what the racers’ personal lives are like off the circuit.
Quite a few F1 WAGs (wives and girlfriends) are fairly well-known themselves. That’s certainly true in the case of Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton, who’s been romantically linked to Kim Kardashian recently. Cadillac’s Valtteri Bottas is dating someone who also races for a living — though on a bike rather than in a car. A handful of other F1 partners are models, influencers, or both.
So, which ones have married their race car-driving beaus? Which racers have started families? We have everything you need to know about the relationships of the 2026 F1 drivers below.
George Russell
After being introduced by a mutual friend, GRussell started dating Spain native and investor relations associate Carmen Montero Mundt in 2020. Russell has described his girlfriend as “incredibly supportive.”
Mundt told Tatler that Russell mentioned he was a driver, but didn’t go into much detail. Turns out, she wasn’t an F1 fan when they met at the start of George’s second year on the circuit.
“It’s been amazing because, from then, I’ve almost seen his entire career in F1,” she said. “We grew together as a couple […] It’s really lucky that we met when we did, because we settled into our life in a really smooth way rather than going straight away into [explosion sound].”
Andrea Kimi Antonelli
Antontelli isn’t currently linked to anyone. He was most recently in a relationship with Eliska Babickova, which reportedly began in October 2023. Babickova shed light on why they split in February 2026.
“I want to set the record straight, just so everyone knows and there doesn’t need to be any more false, disgusting narratives…” she said on social media. “Yes, we did break up. I was the one to end the relationship… our values towards the end of the relationship were very different… There’s no massive drama.”
Charles Leclerc
Just ahead of the beginning of the 2026 season, Leclerc married influencer Alexandra Saint Mleux, who he’s been linked to since 2023. Though they haven’t spoken too much about their relationship in the press, they aren’t shy about showing up to events (and races) together.
After sharing the news of their engagement in a November 2025 Instagram post, the couple shared photos of their nuptials. “A day we’ll forever remember 🤍” Leclerc wrote in the caption. “Part one is done and part 2 will be next year with all of our close ones.”
Lewis Hamilton
As mentioned, the British driver has been spotted with Kim K a couple of times, including at February’s Super Bowl LX. Still, neither party has officially confirmed that they’re an item.
Lando Norris
Last season, McLaren’s Norris said he was single, according to Elle, and he hasn’t said otherwise this year. He was seen hugging model and influencer Margarida Corceiro after his Abu Dhabi win in 2025, but they denied being in a relationship.
Oscar Piastri
Piastri has been off the market for a while. He’s in a relationship with Lily Zneimer. They met at an English boarding school and started dating two years before graduating high school, according to Marie Claire, so Piastri has had his girlfriend by his side since the start of his career.
The Australian driver told Dax Shepard on a 2019 episode of the Eff Won with DRS podcast, “We keep it private, [but] not secretive like some relationships are. We keep it to ourselves and try to be out of the spotlight and just live normal lives.”
Max Verstappen
Verstappen’s girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, has been involved in the F1 world since birth. Her father and brother are both racers, and she shares a daughter with former F1 racer Daniil Kvyat. Piquet had her first daughter with Verstappen in May 2025, after going Instagram official with him in early 2021.
Isack Hadjar
Hadjar was supported by Lauren Fitzsimmons at the March 8 race. She reportedly started dating the driver around May 2025, when the Monaco Grand Prix took place, according to The Sun.
Esteban Ocon
Ocon is dating model and medical student Flavy Barla, who first appeared at last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He was previously linked to model Elena Berri, but they reportedly split in 2023 after about five years together.
Oliver Bearman
Bearman is taken by Alicia Torriani. She works for All-Time, a firm founded by Charles Leclerc’s brother. They’re thought to have been dating since at least 2025’s season opener, when Bearman mentioned having a girlfriend. He previously dated model Estelle Ogilvy, per Tatler.
Liam Lawson
Lawson and influencer Hannah St. John have reportedly been dating since 2022, according to The Sun.
Arvid Lindblad
Britain’s youngest F1 driver — he’s only 18 — hasn’t been linked to anyone since he recently made his Grand Prix debut.
Nico Hulkenberg
In June 2021, Hulkenberg married his wife, Egle, a Lithuanian native and clothing brand owner. Their daughter came along three months later. They’ve been together since at least 2017. “Married life is good, it’s happy,” he said on a September 2023 episode of the Beyond the Grid podcast.The Audi driver added, “I’m happy where I stand with everything that I have at the moment. It’s very balanced.”
Gabriel Bortoleto
Since around 2020, Bortoleto has been seeing Isabella Bernardini, according to Athlon Sports. Both Brazil natives, they reportedly met as teenagers.
Pierre Gasly
Gasly was first connected to Portuguese model Francisca Gomes in 2022, and they went Instagram official in 2023. They’ve showcased their love at events and on social media ever since. In February 2024, Gomes posted a birthday message for her boyfriend, writing, “The one who taught me what real love is❤️ My life partner and best friend. Bon anniversaire meu Pedro, amo-te sempre sempre sempre.”
Franco Colapinto
Colapinto has fueled romance rumors. Recently, he sparked relationship rumors with actress Maia Reffico, but he’s never confirmed a romance with anyone.
Carlos Sainz
Since 2023, Sainz’s heart has been captured by Rebecca Donaldson, a Scottish model and clothing brand owner. They keep their relationship under wraps for the most part.
Alexander Albon
Albon has an equally athletic fiancée: professional golfer Lily Muni He. They’ve been together since 2019, when Lily started following Alex on social media after watching him in Netflix’s Drive To Survive. Alex was starting to take interest in golf, so they hit it off.
“On top of everything, we understand and we get each other,” Albon told Golfweek. “We started our sports as rookies, and we‘ve gone through tough times together. The highs and lows of being an athlete, I think you can resonate that with any athlete.”
Sergio Perez
Perez met his wife, Carola Martinez, when they were in their twenties, both growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico. They welcomed their first son in 2017 and married a year later. They’ve had three more kids in the years since.
Valtteri Bottas
Bottas, as mentioned, has been dating Australian professional cyclist Tiffany Cromwell since 2020. She competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, so they’re both at the top of their games. Bottas was previously married to Finnish swimmer Emilia Pikkarainen, from whom he got divorced in 2019.
Fernando Alonso
Journalist Melissa Jimenez has been cheering Alonso on from the F1 paddock, which happens to be where they met. Alonso and the Spanish F1 reporter started dating in 2023 and are expected to welcome their first child in March 2026.
