Golden Globes 2026: Timothée Chalamet, Amy Poehler & More Stars Who Thanked Their Loves

The 2026 Golden Globe Awards featured the biggest stars in television and movies taking home awards for shows and films that ruled screens in 2025. Some celebs came to the stage with prepared acceptance speeches, while others spoke off the top of their heads as they accepted their awards.

For a majority of the winners during the telecast, the speeches included shout-outs to colleagues, as well as loved ones, including husbands, wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, and fiancés. Some Golden Globe winners shared lengthy messages for their significant others, while others just gave a quick mention to the special someone in their lives. There were also plenty of shout-outs to stars’ children who were watching the show from home.

Rhea Seehorn was the winner for Best Supporting Actress on Television for her role in Pluribus, and in her speech, she thanked her “beautiful village,” which, she specified, included her “partner,” Graham Larson, as well as her two stepsons from his previous marriage.

Timothée Chalamet

When Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for Marty Supreme, he concluded his speech by thanking his parents and his “partner.” Although he didn’t mention his love by name, he’s been dating Kylie Jenner since 2023, and she was in the audience cheering him on when he took the stage.

Rose Byrne

Rose Byrne won Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. She brought her brother as her date, as her longtime love, Bobby Cannavale, was picking up their family’s new bearded dragon in New Jersey on the day of the awards show.

However, she mentioned Cannavale in her speech, gushing, “My husband, Bobby … he couldn’t be here because we’re getting a bearded dragon and he went to a reptile expo in New Jersey. So, thank you.”

Adolescence star Stephen Graham took home Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film and shouted out his wife, Hannah Walters. He called her “one of the very best producers ever” and said she’s a woman he’s “very, very lucky to be married to.”

“I’ve said it before, but you saved my life,” Graham gushed. “And to my two beautiful children, I love you to the moon and back forever.”

Noah Wyle

Noah Wyle took home Best Actor in Television Series – Drama for starring as Dr. Robby on The Pitt. After reflecting on his long career, he gushed over wife Sara Wells and his children.

“I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way. I’m so grateful for this,” Wyle said. He also concluded his speech with another shout-out to Wells, adding, “To my beautiful wife, Sarah, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party.”

Stellan Skarsgård

After winning Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his role as Gustav Borg in Sentimental Value, Stellan Skarsgård made sure to give his wife, Megan Everett, and eight children a shout-out. Of Everett, he gushed, “She’s been amazing and [a] sort of brutal support, [a] tough lover, and very educational.”

He also joked, “Also, my children have been very educational. I’m playing a father that is a bad father. My children have really told me what a bad father is.”

After “Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters won the award for Best Original Song, EJAE got emotional in her acceptance speech, but managed to mention her significant other, Sam Kim. “My fiancé, I love you.” she said.

Amy Poehler and her Good Hang podcast won the Best Podcast award, and she mentioned boyfriend Joel Lovell while thanking a handful of people. Funnily enough, her ex, Will Arnett, was also nominated in the category for his SmartLess pod.
