Now that the Jonas Brothers have made their return to Disney with A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, it’s safe to say that we’re feeling a little bit nostalgic. Their new Christmas movie — which is absolutely hilarious, BTW — is all about family and spending the holidays with your loved ones. While both Kevin’s wife, Danielle Jonas, and Nick’s wife, Priyanka Chopra, appear in the film, it’s Joe Jonas‘ love life that steals the show as he forms a connection with Lucy (Chloe Bennet).
However, since the brothers and their real-life partners play themselves in the movie, watching Joe fall for a fictional character — and become TikTok’s newest crush with his iconic new quote “bing bing bong” — had us thinking back to all of his real romantic partners from Christmas past. AJ Michalka (2006)
Back in 2006, the Jonas Brothers toured with Aly & AJ, and soon after, Jonas announced that he was dating one-half of the Cow Belles sister duo, AJ Michalka. AJ even shared that Joe was her first kiss, and she was pretty sure she was Joe’s, too.
While many have theorized that Aly & AJ’s hit song, “Potential Breakup Song,” was about Joe, the duo cleared up the rumors when he posted, “Ok but I’d never do that on your birthday,” and AJ responded, “And yet they STILL think it’s about you.”
Taylor Swift (2008)

Joe and Camilla Belle met when she starred in their “Lovebug” music video, which premiered on October 19, 2008, the same month Joe and Taylor split. According to Cosmopolitan, as soon as Joe and Camilla made their relationship official, Taylor alleged, “They’ve been together since we broke up. That’s why we broke up—because he met her.” Reportedly, she also wrote “Better Than Revenge” about the whole ordeal. After nearly a year together, Joe and Camilla split.
Demi Lovato (2010)
Anyone who remembers when Joe and Demi Lovato performed “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” from Camp Rock 2 on Good Morning America will tell you that it is the closest our generation has come to watching Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks sing “Silver Springs” live. While Joe and Demi only dated for a month, their mid-breakup performance will forever live in infamy for Disney kids.
In 2025, Lovato joined the Jonas Brothers on stage to sing “This Is Me” and “Wouldn’t Change a Thing” just days before both Demi and the JoBros announced their attachment to Camp Rock 3. Safe to say, the Camp Rock stars are on good terms today.

However, their most memorable moment came five years later when Joe posted in a Reddit AMA, “I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley.
