After one of the messiest seasons of Love Is Blind yet, the cast assembled for the long-awaited Season 7 reunion, which aired on October 30.

Viewers had many questions leading up to the reunion episode, and hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey didn’t hold back on asking them. Just like he promised, Tyler Francis revealed his side of the paternity scandal drama, and Ashley Adionser gave her two cents.

Meanwhile, Ramses Prashad and Marissa George faced each other after their emotional breakup, and Marissa’s mom chimed in on how she feels about Ramses today. Of course, Stephen Richardson had to address those sexts, and Nick Dorka had to answer for what he said about ex Hannah Jiles.

Swooon is breaking down the biggest moments from the memorable Season 7 reunion below. Plus, get the latest updates on Season 8 here.

1. Tyler breaks down sperm donor drama

The world had been waiting for this. Tyler’s paternity scandal spread like wildfire on social media, and he finally addressed the situation at the reunion.

“I did help a friend and her wife start a family, but her wife ended up leaving her, and left her high and dry,” Tyler said. “This was my very close friend, so I stepped in, voluntarily stepped in. So there is pictures of me around, you’ll see me around… I played a part that became very shaky with a friend. There’s no rule books to this. There’s no set line to this, but I do want to let people know: Ashley knows all this. This is news to the world. This has never been news to us.”

Tyler was visibly emotional as he opened up about his side of the story. “I’m good. We’re good. I’m not going to keep harping on it,” he concluded.

Ashley stressed that she was not blindsided by this news, and for people to assume that is “insulting to my intelligence.” She added, “He is a good person who went in a little deep and didn’t know what to do next.” Ashley called her romance with Tyler a “once in a lifetime kind of love.”

2. Ramses clarifies contraception controversy

“I wanted to clarify that at no point did I ever try to present Marissa with an ultimatum,” Ramses said regarding his views on contraception. “She had very valid reasons as to why she didn’t want to use hormonal contraception… I would never try to force that on her.” He previously told Marissa that sex with a condom wasn’t enjoyable for him.

Before his explanation, he revealed what derailed his relationship with Marissa.  “I basically started to recognize how far of a space there was in our energy and how there wasn’t that balance that I’v sort of felt in the pods,” he said. Marissa whispered to Hannah, “I think I hate him.”

Marissa’s mom was in the audience and went off on Ramses. “I’m thankful he called it off. I am. She would have carried that relationship. So, he did the right thing,” she said.

3. Nick gets called out for 'grenade' comment about Hannah

Hannah and Nick’s reunion confrontation started out civil but quickly spiraled. When Nick said Hannah’s been “getting way too much hate online” for being herself, Hannah asked him why he was liking hate comments about her that people were leaving on his Instagram.

Hannah then brought up that one of Nick’s goals pre-Love Is Blind was that he wanted to be the “most famous person ever” on the show. Nick explained that was one of his “90 day goals” before the experiment.

Debate over whether or not Nick called Hannah a “grenade” filled the stage. Stephen confirmed Nick said something to that effect but couldn’t remember the conversation. Nick denied he said it.

Marissa grilled Nick on behalf of Hannah, and even Ramses urged Nick to take accountability. Nick acknowledged that he was “underwhelmed” after Hannah’s reveal but did not say she was a “grenade.”

4. Stephen owns up to sexting scandal (sort of)

Stephen and Monica’s romance came crashing down when she discovered sexts he sent another woman during a sleep test. At the reunion, Stephen admitted that he couldn’t remember the sexts, but he took “full responsibility” for what happened.

He called it a “moment of weakness,” and the woman initially texted him to talk about a “heart condition.” This evolved into a conversation about fetishes. Stephen claimed he only talked to this woman that one day, and they have never met in person. They met through Instagram.

5. Alex and Tim address their heated fight

There was no love lost between Alex and Tim. They discussed one of their many fights before their split. Alex stressed that “nothing on my end was physically assaulting him” during their tense fight in Mexico. She just wanted to prevent production from seeing the argument. “It wasn’t assault but I reject you saying that I yelled at you,” Tim told his ex.

Alex clapped back that production had to calm him down. Tim claimed that Alex “belittled” him by calling him a “little ass b*tch.”

6. Leo and Brittany talk missing Mexico

Even though Leo and Brittany got engaged in the pods, they were not chosen to go to Mexico with the other couples. Brittany was asked whether or not they were given a reason why. “Yeah, we were the weakest link,” she said.

Leo admitted that he was “crushed” they didn’t get to go to Cabo, but it was for the best. They remain friends today. Brittany is dating someone new, while Leo is single.
