‘Love Is Blind: UK’ Season 3: Who Got Engaged in the Pods?

Love Is Blind: UK is back! A fresh batch of singles have entered the pods, hoping to find their soulmate without ever laying eyes on them. Tired of dating apps and inspired by the lasting marriages they saw growing up, this year’s cast are putting love to the ultimate test: chatting through a wall until they’re hopefully ready to put a ring on it.

Season 3 has felt like a return to classic Love Is Blind. Six couples left the pods engaged, there have been fewer messy love triangles than we’ve seen in recent seasons, and the focus has shifted towards watching the couples build real relationships. The cast also spends more time together than usual, with two group getaways in Ibiza and several meetups back in the UK, giving viewers even more insight into how the relationships develop.

It’s a refreshing change of pace, and one that Love Is Blind Season 11 in Boston might want to take notes from.

So, which couples made it out of the pods engaged, and who’s still together as we edge closer to the weddings? Here’s where every Love Is Blind: UK Season 3 couple stands.

Which couple do you think will actually make it down the aisle? Let us know in the comments.

Ajay and Ciara in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Ajay & Ciara

Status: Still Together

A 29-year-old Pilates instructor meets a 33-year-old former finance bro in the pods, and the pair hits it off almost immediately. Ciara was looking for nothing less than the princess treatment, and Ajay is more than happy to rise to the challenge, even though he’s recently left his banking career and is in the middle of building a new one.

Ciara admits she was going on four or five dates a week before entering the experiment and expects a man to spend at least £300 on a first date. Rather than being put off, Ajay seems oddly excited by the challenge.

For a while, Ciara is torn between Ajay and Jack, while Ajay is completely focused on her. She eventually ends things with Jack — on less-than-friendly terms — saying she needs a certain type of man.

With dreams of attending Wimbledon together and settling down in southwest London, Ciara and Ajay leave the pods engaged.

The pair continues to get along well in Ibiza, despite Ciara’s lingering tension with Jack, and quickly discover they have plenty in common. They even joke that Ajay’s skincare routine is longer than hers. However, money soon becomes a major insecurity for at least one of them. Ajay worries about whether he’ll be able to meet Ciara’s financial expectations after leaving his lucrative finance career. While Ciara reassures him, she also makes it clear that she enjoys the finer things in life, joking that her income is for spending on herself, while his is for supporting them and their future family.

Another bump in the road comes when Ajay feels Ciara isn’t supporting him enough after a family disagreement. Following a heated argument, he leaves and spends the night elsewhere. When he returns, Ciara apologizes and takes accountability. Later, she surprises him with a sweet Diwali celebration, bringing Ajay to tears.

The couple is still engaged, but whether they truly share the same vision for the future remains to be seen. We’ll have to wait until they reach the altar to find out.

Faye and Jack in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Faye & Jack

Status: Still Together

Jack, a 30-year-old chef from Cornwall, and Faye, a 28-year-old executive assistant from Guernsey who now lives in London, have quickly become one of the strongest couples in the pods. Although Jack initially formed connections with both Faye and Ciara, he ultimately chooses Faye, leaving Ciara disgruntled.

From their very first conversation, Jack can’t stop raving about Faye’s voice, telling her he already fancies her. He soon nicknames her “Fantastic Faye,” and the pair develops an effortless banter. Jack gives her flowers in one of their pod dates and often gives her huge hugs through the wall. He even claims he’s dreamed about a blonde woman riding a horse who sounded suspiciously like Faye – fate or Instagram snooping?

Jack asks Faye to be his girlfriend, admits he is falling for her, and eventually proposes. When they finally meet face-to-face, both are visibly emotional and shaking with nerves. Jack quickly declares that he “fancied the pants off” Faye, although his comment about the “two things that stand out” — referring to her cleavage — isn’t quite as cute.

The couple continues to thrive during the Ibiza retreat, despite Jack being forced to revisit his messy love triangle with Ciara. One of his sweetest gestures comes when he surprises Faye by covering their villa’s private pool with rose petals and surrounding it with candles for a romantic evening together.

Back in the UK, things appeared to be going from strength to strength as they met each other’s families. However, cracks begin to show after Faye’s birthday party. She woke up at around 5 or 6 a.m. to find Jack missing from bed. After multiple unanswered calls and texts, she checked Find My Friends, only to discover he’d stopped sharing his location.

Roughly two hours later, Jack finally answered the phone and claimed he’d gone for a walk and was about to get an Uber home. When he returned, Faye noticed he was wearing sliders — hardly the footwear for a long trek across London. Jack becomes defensive when questioned, insisting that

Faye’s lack of trust is her problem rather than explaining where he’d actually been.
Faye later confides in her parents, who are unconvinced by Jack’s explanation. She also points out that when they’d spoken on the phone, it hadn’t sounded as though he was outside. Whether Jack is telling the truth remains one of the season’s biggest unanswered questions, and one we’re desperately hoping will be addressed at the reunion.

For now, Jack and Faye remain engaged, but it’s unclear whether they’ll make it down the aisle.

Yasmin and Jordan in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Yasmin & Jordan

Status: Split

Unlike the aforementioned love triangle — or love square, given that four people were involved — Yasmin and Jordan had their hearts set on each other from the beginning and chose not to pursue any other connections. Yasmin, 32, is a physician associate from London, while Jordan, 29, is a teacher from Birmingham.

Jordan explains that his time in the military has prevented him from pursuing serious relationships, but since leaving, he has felt ready to find his match. Yasmin, meanwhile, has never been in a relationship before, largely due to her religious upbringing.
The pair gets engaged in the pods, and their first face-to-face meeting is a success.

Jordan calls Yasmin “beautiful” and “a dream.” They also manage to avoid any major disagreements during the group trip, either with each other or with the other couples. However, it soon becomes clear that they are taking things at a slower pace than everyone else. Even after returning to the UK, they still hadn’t said, “I love you.”

Jordan explains that he is deliberately holding back because this will be the first time Yasmin’s ever heard those words from a partner, and he wants them to carry real meaning. He says he will only say them once he is certain he wants to marry her. Yasmin is ready to hear them, but senses that Jordan isn’t quite there yet.

As the weeks pass, Jordan begins raising concerns about their future, particularly the distance between them. He isn’t keen on moving from Birmingham to London, and he also doesn’t want Yasmin to leave her job and move north. So, they are a bit stuck there.

Yasmin and several of her friends suspect there’s more behind his hesitation than the logistics of their future. Jordan initially denies this, but eventually admits that he doesn’t feel strongly enough about Yasmin and isn’t sure his feelings will develop to the point where he’ll want to marry her before the wedding.

Ultimately, their engagement is called off, bringing their relationship to a disappointing end.

Joseph, Francesca in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Joseph & Francesca

Status: Still Together

Francesca, 29, works in Human Resources and refuses to use dating apps. Instead, she’s looking for an “Airport Passport Dad,” aka someone who can get her and their future children to the gate on time. Joseph, 33, is a project manager who describes himself as “calm, nerdy, and Christian.”

Joseph initially finds himself torn between Francesca and Chevanique. He eventually decides to end things with Chevanique, although the conversation doesn’t exactly go to plan. She manages to make him question whether he’s making the right decision and doubt himself – women in male-dominated fields.

However, the next time they meet, Joseph ends the relationship for good and goes on to propose to Francesca.

When they finally meet face-to-face, Joseph can barely contain his reaction, repeatedly saying “wow” as he takes her in. He later tells viewers, “I fancy her. I really fancy her.” (We swooned).

Francesca is equally enthusiastic, giggling that “that man is handsome.” The couple settles into life in Ibiza well, although Joseph finds himself caught up in the drama surrounding Jack and Faye, with Ciara questioning his involvement. At Faye’s birthday party, Chevanique confronts Joseph and accuses him of downplaying the extent of their connection when speaking to Francesca.

Francesca stands firmly by her fiancé, calling Chevanique’s comments “disrespectful.” Once they’re back home, she reassures Joseph that she’ll always have his back in public.

However, their next challenge comes from an unexpected place: Francesca’s family. Much to her surprise, they aren’t convinced that she should marry Joseph. They have nothing against him personally, but feel the relationship has moved far too quickly.

The pair are still engaged for now, but with a wedding on the horizon, a preview suggests Francesca’s parents may make one final attempt to change her mind before she walks down the aisle.

Cuba and Ryan in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Cuba & Ryan

Status: Still Together

Like Jack, Ryan is something of an acquired taste for some viewers in the pods. The 33-year-old public speaker is quick to write people off, particularly when their lifestyle or career doesn’t align with his nomadic lifestyle. He’s also not one for small talk. This works surprisingly well for Cuba, a 29-year-old yoga and fitness instructor. Both are deeply spiritual, speak Spanish, and approach life with an open mind.

The pair bond over their shared desire to homeschool their future children, although Cuba believes that once they’re old enough, their children should be able to decide for themselves. At one point, they admit they are so excited to speak to each other that they can’t even sleep.

They get engaged in the pods and have a strong first meeting. Cuba later tells the other women that Ryan looks at her as though he “adores” her. One of their standout moments in Ibiza comes when they try ecstatic dancing while blindfolded. They both love the experience — and, honestly, good for them.

However, things become more difficult once they’re back in the UK. Ryan has to leave for various work commitments, leaving Cuba struggling with the lack of communication and how distant he seems when he returns. He then has to leave again after the death of his grandmother, while Cuba finds herself unsure of how best to support him through his grief.

The couple has had significantly less time together than the other pairs, and their relationship may simply be a case of unfortunate timing. They’re still engaged, but we’re unsure if they’ll tie the knot this season or continue dating.

Sophie and Taylor in 'Love Is Blind: UK' Season 3
Netflix

Sophie & Taylor

Status: Still Together

Every season has one couple viewers can’t help rooting for, and in Love Is Blind: UK Season 3, Sophie and Taylor have quickly become that pair. Sophie, 27, works in operations and proudly hails from Manchester, while Taylor, 31, is Head of Sales. He’s searching for his “best friend who is emotionally available,” while Sophie reveals she hasn’t been in a relationship since she was 19 years old.

The pair hits it off almost immediately, building a relationship full of playful flirting and shared values. Taylor confidently tells Sophie that Scorpios are the best in bed (this November-born writer can confirm), while reassuring her that he’s a “banging cook” after she admits the kitchen isn’t really her domain. They also openly discuss what they’re looking for in a relationship and the qualities they’re attracted to in a partner.

But it isn’t all light-hearted banter. Taylor opens up about losing his mom when he was 21, and he gives Sophie a necklace that belonged to her. After getting engaged in the pods, Sophie wears the necklace to their first face-to-face meeting, which he clearly appreciates.

From Ibiza to life back in London, Sophie and Taylor appear completely smitten with each other. Their friends and families are equally impressed, with loved ones describing them as “perfect” together. Taylor’s family even comments that Sophie is exactly his usual type, making it all the more surprising that they chose each other without ever seeing one another.

Although Taylor’s family members are a little disappointed that he’s planning to move to Manchester to be with Sophie, they do support this match. Taylor even begins applying for jobs in the area, showing just how committed he is to building their future together.

So far, Sophie and Taylor have avoided the major hurdles that have tested many of the other couples. Are they ready to say “I do” at the altar? We hope so!
