‘Love Island Games’ Season 2: Are Any Couples Still Together?
Love Island Games has been over for about two months now, so are any of the couples still together today? In Love Island world, two months feels more like two years. In Season 2, the contestants made it clear from the start whether they were after love or money. As franchise veterans who had already gone through the love-focused version of the show, many Islanders kept their eyes on the prize only, though some of them were open to a new relationship as a bonus.
Out of 21 Islanders of Season 2 — which included alums like Justine Ndiba, Tyrique Hyde, Kendall Washington, Sydney Paight, and more — only two walked away with $125,000 in their pockets. However, not everyone left empty-handed. In the case of the winners, Lucinda Strafford and Isaiah Campbell, they walked away with the cash and a connection. But what’s their relationship status as we reach the end of the year?
Keep reading to find out who from Love Island Games Season 2 is still together after filming. Tell us your favorite Season 2 couple in the comments!

Lucinda Strafford & Isaiah Campbell
Status: Not Together
Lucinda and Isaiah didn’t make their relationship official when they were crowned Love Island Games champs, but they were technically still together when they left the show.
With Lucinda being from the U.K. and Isaiah being from the U.S., they were faced with long distance once they left the villa. When Swooon spoke to the couple in a joint interview just days after the finale, Isaiah said that they weren’t stressing about the future of their relationship, considering that they’d only known each other for two and a half weeks.
“So it’s obviously baby steps, and I’m obviously trying to explore a connection with her more, for sure,” he explained. “So she’s busy, I’m busy, but I do like her, and I enjoy her time a lot. And I think she’s beautiful, so, yeah, we’ll see where things go.”
Isaiah and Lucinda technically haven’t split since they were never officially in a relationship, but since she returned to the U.K., Lucinda has been spending time with Mert Okatan. They formed a brief connection before Mert was dumped in Episode 6. The two reunited at the end of October and marked the occasion with a flirty video, but they haven’t confirmed the nature of their relationship yet.
Justine Ndiba & Tyrique Hyde
Status: Just Friends
Justine and Tyrique had a rocky journey in Season 2. After entering as a bombshell in Episode 3, Love Island USA winner Justine partnered with Josh Goldstein in what started as a friendship couple. Justine was getting to know Tyrique, a Love Island UK alum, at the same time, but when it came time to recouple, Tyrique was hurt that she chose Josh. However, Josh wanted to be with someone else, so Tyrique and Justine ended up as a couple anyway. In retaliation, Tyrique made a plan to assure Justine that everything was fine between them and leave her at the next opportunity.
Ultimately, the plan didn’t pan out, and Tyrique and Justine stayed together until the end, winding up in second place. Despite their dramatic beginnings, the two expressed interest in each other throughout, and Justine even said that Tyrique was her favorite Love Island partner so far.
When Swooon caught up with the couple in separate interviews a couple of days after the finale, they each confirmed that they still wanted to get to know each other, but they weren’t putting too much pressure on their relationship. Justine also explained that they needed to build “real trust” with each other before deciding to take things further.
“There’s always the distance thing that I will not be putting myself through again,” Justine added. “There’s just so many things that there, but we do communicate really well with each other. We’re very transparent with each other about everything, and he still says he wants to take me out to dinner at the very least. So let’s start there and see if we can get past that place.”
On October 29, Tyrique appeared on Justine’s Just Sayin’ podcast, and he seemed to confirm that they weren’t in a relationship. He said, “Bro, even if we’re not something romantic… We can be friends. I’ll always have respect for you, I see you as a friend.”
He added, “I don’t see myself having anything serious but, if you want a bit of fun, Justine, you know what time it is.” Justine replied, “Call me when you’re in phase three, Tyrique, because I think you have great qualities and we could have fun together.”
Sydney Paight & Toby Aromolaran
Status: Not Together
Sydney and Toby started out strong, but toward the last few days, Toby began to doubt Sydney’s drive and ability as a competitor. He tried to leave Sydney and couple up with Garbi Denteh instead, which left Sydney blindsided. As a result, Sydney said they were just going to work together as teammates and nothing more.
A day after coming in third place in the finale, Sydney uploaded a TikTok photo of herself and Toby. She called him a “coworker” in the caption, and the audio she used said, “It must be so nice to be utterly useless 40 hours a week.” It was a pretty clear indicator that they split for good, though Toby told Blavity TV that he wasn’t sure where he and his former partner stood a few days after the finale. He continued, “I don’t want to put a stamp on it and say, ‘This is it,’ you know what I mean?”
Johnny Middlebrooks & Gabby Allen
Status: Not Together
Johnny and Gabby made it clear from the start that they were a strategic couple, focused on the challenges rather than love. Still, they shared a few kisses and agreed to have some fun during filming. They left together in fourth place and didn’t mention anything about seeing each other in the future.
In fact, Johnny’s been spotted with his villa ex, Andreina Santos, immediately post-show instead. They parted ways on bad terms, but Johnny and Andreina reunited and appeared together in a live TikTok video. (More on their history here.)
In an October 8 interview with Us Weekly, Johnny confirmed that they had spent time together and smoothed things over. “I’m not gonna do too much kissing and telling,” he said. “I already went online and posted a little video of her in my hotel room that everyone’s so upset about. But I really posted that to show everyone that she did her big one with making it seem like she would never talk to me again. She thought I was the worst person in the whole entire world. But I knew that’s not actually how she felt. We were cool. She very much instantly forgave me.”
The two haven’t publicly spoken about their relationship status since then. Andreina is set to appear in Love Island: Beyond the Villa Season 2, which started production in mid-November, so we may get an update once the spinoff episodes drop in early 2026.
Garbi Denteh & Kendall Washington
Status: Just Friends
Kendall and Garbi coupled up on the first day, and remained together all the way until Kendall’s elimination. Kendall, who was on the show for love over money, told Swooon that he planned on discussing the future with Garbi, who lives in Belgium, as soon as she was out of the villa.
“We don’t want to put pressure on each other on anything,” he said on October 2. “We know we live in two different countries, which is tough, but I know we both like each other. We both like each other, and that’s why I’m eager to have that conversation with her.”
He added that their seven-year age difference might pose a problem, too, since they’re at different points in their lives. “But we said we could still work through things because we want the best for each other, and we really found something in there,” he said.
After Garbi was dumped from the villa, she spoke with Blavity TV about where she and Kendall stood a few days after the finale. “I think for now we’ve just kind of decided that it’s just best to be friends because long distance is not easy and again, we weren’t in that villa for a very long time,” she said.
Andrea Carmona & Josh Goldstein
Status: Just Friends
Josh and Andrea were constantly being pulled in different directions in the villa, but they were a force to be reckoned with once they consistently teamed up for challenges. They expressed mutual interest in each other and performed well in the challenges, which led to their fellow Islanders targeting them. They were dumped from the villa together just shy of the finale.
When they appeared on the Aftersun post-show, Andrea explained that they decided to be just friends on the outside. Having just gotten out of another relationship before Love Island Games, Andrea didn’t want to move on too fast. She said it felt like it was a case of “right person, wrong time,” but she also acknowledged that they both currently live in Miami, which is helpful if they did want to see each other in the future.
Chris Seeley & Kay Kay Gray
Status: Not Together
Chris and Kay Kay were the first couple with a romantic connection to be dumped together. Shortly after their elimination, Swooon asked Chris and Kay Kay about their future.
“It’s comforting knowing we can go at our own pace, nobody’s forcing us or pressuring us to get closer or there’s just not so much intensity around it,” Kay Kay explained. “We can just do it how we want to do it, how we’re comfortable.”
Chris added that the next challenge was going into the real world together, especially since they live a few states apart. “I think once we figure all that out and figure out if we even really, really like each other to a point where we are willing to do that, then we’ll focus more on that and see what’s best going forward and determine whether I’ll be spending some time in Dallas versus her in L.A.,” Chris said.
Chris didn’t appear in the Season 2 finale alongside his other eliminated Islanders, though Kay Kay was in attendance. They also haven’t posted each other on social media since their exit, and while Chris still follows Kay Kay on Instagram, Kay Kay doesn’t follow him. In a fan-recorded TikTok live video, Kay Kay says that Chris ghosted her after the show.
