‘Match Me Abroad’ Reveals Explosive Season 2 Midseason Trailer: Who’s Leaving After Getting Ghosted? (VIDEO)
Match Me Abroad is back and better than ever!
Swooon is proud to share an exclusive first look at what’s in store for the rest of Season 2 of Match Me Abroad, TLC‘s international dating show, which pairs single American daters with matchmakers across the globe in pursuit of lasting love.
Season 2 of Match Me Abroad follows returning cast member Harold from New Mexico and newcomer Sarah from Texas, both of whom are looking for love in Singapore. This season also features Tony from Florida and Monica from California, who travel to Brazil hoping that Brazilian singles check more of their boxes than Americans can. This season, viewers also travel to scenic Ireland with Victoria from New York and Amber from Texas.

Match Me Abroad, Season 2, Sundays at 10/9c, TLC
Amber
Amber came to Ireland looking for love, but will she find it? In Match Me Abroad‘s Season 2 midseason preview, Monica is caught between Kevin and Clint, two Irish lads that both want to see her exclusively. “Kevin definitely is in the running, but Clint has been texting me every day” she says. At the end of the preview, we also see Amber mid-crashout. While we don’t know what happens yet, Amber teases, “I don’t tolerate people being disrespectful to me.”
Harold
When we last saw Harold, he was trying pig ears on his second date with Amber. The couple is still going strong in Singapore, when Amber starts to bring up spicy questions about intimacy. Will everything change when Amber suggests that sex in a “public toilet” or another “exotic place” is something they “might want to try”?
Sarah
Something wicked this way comes with Sarah’s Singaporean connection. During the Season 2 midseason trailer, Match Me Abroad matchmaker Dolly tells Sarah that she has spoken with EJ — and things may not be looking great. She prefaces her news with, “Remember, I’m on your side.”
Monica
Even though Monica is “still unsure what to do” about her two strong connections, she is shocked to find out that her matchmaker Luiza has invited both men to her session, which is not ideal. While Monica is clearly nervous about the confrontation, Luiza questions, “Grown-ups make decisions right?”
Victoria
During the preview, we see Victoria in her feelings and packing a bag to (presumably) leave Ireland after being ghosted by Darren. In the exclusive footage, she tells the producers, “Darren and I were supposed to hang out. He doesn’t show up.” Adding, “It just triggered so much. I guess I’m just so used to being like strong and independent so if I feel vulnerable it makes that guest feel like I’m not I’m strong.”
Tony
Oh, Tony. When matchmaker Luiza shares that she has another date for Tony, it comes with a caveat: He has to keep his mind open. As Luiza puts it, “If we have a list of dealbreakers, it’s going to be very hard to find someone for you.” In his shocking response, Tony does not seem to take the feedback into consideration. He retorts, “I don’t think you’ve ever met anybody that’s like me before.” He adds, “You can’t put me in a box.”
