We can’t stop thinking about Prime Video’s latest coming-of-age drama, Motorheads. It’s been far too long since we’ve had a show with quite so many relationships to obsess over — and now that we’ve finished Season 1, we have so many thoughts.
While the show’s characters are fixated on all things cars and street racing, they spend just as much time navigating romances. With so many characters and storylines going on, there’s truly something for everyone in Motorheads, from love triangles to a potential enemies-to-lovers dynamic. Seriously, this show is making our hearts race.
From Caitlyn (Melissa Collazo) and Curtis (Uriah Shelton) to Marcel (Nicolas Cantu) and Brooke (Audrey Gerthoffer), we’ve taken it upon ourselves to rank every couple — official and potential — by how much we want them to work out in a possible Season 2. Who is your favorite Motorheads couple? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

11. Curtis & Brooke
There’s nothing totally wrong with this pairing, and they’ve certainly had their cute moments, but they feel like placeholders for each other. Curtis can’t fully commit since he has stronger feelings for Caitlyn, and Brooke seems more concerned with making Harris (Josh MacQueen) jealous than anything else. This pair is definitely better off as friends.

10. Harris & Brooke
Harris routinely goes to Brooke whenever he’s on the outs with longtime girlfriend Alicia (Mia Healey). He allows Brooke to hope they might eventually be together, stringing her along and using her. There could be a sort of enemies-to-lovers dynamic here down the line, but honestly, it’s too messy to fully ship. (And they have more potential with other people, anyway.)

9. Harris & Alicia
Harris and Alicia are the one official couple that lasts for most of the season — until Alicia finally breaks it off with him. Despite the many toxic moments they had, they also shared some sweet ones. He admits that she makes him want to be a better person. She’s really the only one who Harris ever let his guard down around. We wouldn’t seriously mind if they got back together down the line, as long as Harris works through his issues first and does some damage control.

8. Darren & Sam
While the teens take center stage in Motorheads, the parents have their own drama going on. Zac and Caitlyn’s mom, Sam (Nathalie Kelley), reconnects with her old high school classmate (and Harris’ dad), Darren (Matt Lanter).
We also find out that Darren had feelings for Sam back when she dated the twin’s dad, Christian. Darren even challenged Christian to a race, betting that Christian would have to break up with her if he won. Nothing ever came of it then, but now that Samantha knows about the bet, we wouldn’t mind seeing the underdog get the girl.

7. Caitlyn & Kiara
One side of Season 1’s love triangle is Caitlyn and Kiara (Johnna Dias-Watson). We like the popular girl and outcast matchup, and they seem to have a nice friendship, but there isn’t much chemistry between them yet. It may just be because they haven’t spent much time together — especially when compared to Caitlyn and her other love interest, Curtis. Now that Kiara has come out to her parents and a few friends, it could develop into something more shippable in Season 2.

6. Zac & Alicia
We’re torn about Zac (Michael Cimino) and Alicia. Almost the second Zac lays eyes on his locker buddy, he relentlessly pursues Alicia — even knowing that she’s in a relationship with Harris. He’s down bad for her, which we always love to see, but we just don’t think that any fire is there. Even if he doesn’t realize it, we’re guessing it was more about the chase and competition for Zac than anything else.

5. Zac & Brooke
This pairing is more of a longshot — they don’t show any romantic feelings for each other in Season 1 — but we think something may be there after that diner scene, when they’re both waiting on tables. Harris sits down, but when Brooke explains that she wants to avoid him, Zac immediately jumps in to take Harris’ order (and he’s his arch-rival, mind you). Plus, we can always get behind the friends-to-lovers trope.

4. Logan & Sam
This one’s also a bit tricky considering Sam’s past with Logan’s (Ryan Phillippe) brother, Christian, but there are hints that they might get together throughout the season. They have a natural chemistry, for one. And when Alicia’s dad outbids Sam for her old car at an auction, Logan trades his beloved Mustang to get it back. If that’s not true love, we don’t know what is.
They ended Season 1 in a bit of a rocky place, since Logan didn’t tell Sam everything about what went down before Christian’s disappearance. We need them to smooth things over ASAP!

3. Harris & Caitlyn
Now, this one is the real long shot of the bunch. There isn’t a hint of romance between this duo, but we can envision them together easily. Harris needs someone who doesn’t put up with BS, and who better to do that than Caitlyn, who has a little verbal sparring match with him during their first interaction? (If you don’t get it, just watch this fan edit.)
We can totally see them becoming an item — at least, once Harris’ character development is kicked into gear.

2. Marcel & Brooke
Sweet and dorky Marcel and cool girl Brooke are giving strong Seth and Summer from The O.C. energy. They have one of the strongest friendships in the bunch, with a strong foundation after working at the diner together for so long. Brooke appears to see Marcel in a strictly platonic light, though we’re willing to bet it’s not the case for the latter. Now that Marcel is going to be roommates with Brooke in New York during her winter break, it’s the perfect opportunity for Brooke to develop more romantic feelings.

1. Curtis & Caitlyn
This is the Motorheads ship to trump them all, and we will die on that hill. From the get-go in Season 1, Caitlyn and Curtis are intrigued by each other, and even though they do kiss fairly early on, they build an unshakeable bond as friends first while they work on repairing Christian’s car. Caitlyn finally decides to push her hesitations aside and acknowledge her feelings for Curtis, culminating in a passionate kiss at the end of the season. We can only hope that they fully get together in Season 2.
(Also, Curtis has a keep-her-name-out-of-your-mouth scene that made us swoon. We love a protective love interest!)
