Could Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) be entering the next chapter of her literary career? After becoming a bestselling author in her 30s on Sex and the City, Carrie is trying her hand at fiction for the first time in And Just Like That Season 3.
Carrie is told by her publisher, Amanda (Ashlie Atkinson), in the Season 3 teaser that romantasy is “very hot” right now, and that’s an understatement. Romantasy authors like Rebecca Yarros, Sarah J. Maas, Callie Hart, and more are taking over the romance book world these days.
Amanda even has a title in mind if Carrie is willing to try her hand at romantasy: Sex and the Cauldron. Not bad! However, Swooon decided to conjure up 12 Sex and the City-inspired pitches and synopses for Carrie to use as inspiration for her romantasy journey.
