More than two weeks after Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirmed they were romantically involved, Ciara Miller has broken her silence. Ciara, who was close friends with Amanda and briefly dated West in 2024, gave a lengthy interview to Glamour about the situation.

While Ciara is saving most of her responses for the upcoming Summer House reunion, she did give major insight into how she found out about West and Amanda’s romance, who she’s angrier at, and more.

Ciara described the situation as a “mindf**k,” especially because Season 10 of Summer House is currently airing on Bravo, and she’s now watching it with an entirely different lens. The episodes have featured Ciara giving Amanda pep talks amid her crumbling marriage to Kyle Cooke, while also getting back to a better place with West after their failed romance.

Below, Swooon has rounded up all the major reveals Ciara made in her interview, including whether she’s considering starring on The Bachelorette.

A Gut Feeling

Ciara hinted that she was suspicious that something was going on between her bestie and ex.

“Just know when something’s weird in your gut, there’s a reason,” she shared. “What’s done in the dark always comes to light. And sometimes you really don’t even have to do anything except sit back and let the universe handle it all.”

West's Broken Promise

Ciara turned 30 in December 2025 and a friend threw her a “small birthday dinner,” which West attended.

“I felt like we were trying to move in a more positive direction since we hadn’t spoken to each other in two years,” Ciara explained. “I felt like we were actually starting to be friends again.”

She said the two had begun discussing what they needed from each other to move forward, and one of their boundaries was “no more sleeping with people on Bravo.”

Ciara continued, “Obviously, now that’s out the window. At the end of the day, we were genuine friends, which I think was what made it so hurtful when everything kind of went south.”

Meanwhile, Amanda didn’t attend the birthday dinner, which Ciara didn’t necessarily fault her for. “I do feel like I was closer to Amanda at that particular time, but I also know she probably wasn’t going to come to my birthday dinner just because…you know the rule with her,” she explained. “She wants to be invited, but she doesn’t necessarily want to come, which is fine because I’m totally the same way. I appreciate the invite, but I don’t want to go.”

The Bigger Betrayal

Ultimately, Ciara felt more betrayed by her friend, Amanda, than West.

“At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy,” she pointed out. “Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man. But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part.”

Ciara noted that she stuck up for Amanda during fights with Kyle so many times, adding, “I have tried to be there in different ways for you and help you and get you to see your value in yourself. And so to be disregarded in such a disrespectful way is … Honestly, it’s …  I’m at a loss for words sometimes.”

The Joint Statement That Broke the Internet

When Amanda and West posted a joint statement about their relationship on March 31, Ciara was given “less than 24 hours” of notice. “One [notification] was about 45 minutes before,” she added.

She also didn’t get a copy of the message before Amanda and West posted it. “I read it with the rest of the world,” Ciara confirmed. “There’s something about the lack of being able to say each other’s names in the statement that I found very telling, but I don’t know.”

A Falling Out

Ciara noted that her contact with Amanda has been “minimal” in recent weeks, and promised that she’ll expand on that at the reunion.

Single and Thriving

Ciara confirmed that she is currently single, which is not a problem.

“I’m so happy being single,” she gushed. “Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone being in my apartment. I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be single.”

The Next 'Bachelorette' Star?

Even though fans are calling for Ciara to star on the next season of The Bachelorette, they shouldn’t hold their breaths!

“F**k no,” she insisted. “I’m way too private.”

'Summer House' Future

While Ciara didn’t explicitly address her future with Summer House, she seemingly hinted that she’d be interested in returning for Season 11.

“I don’t necessarily see myself raising my kids on reality TV, or doing that chapter of my life on reality TV once I do settle down. But it’s really great for me right now as a single girl living in New York City,” she said.
