A Full ‘Survivor’ Season 49 Cast Breakdown on Who’s Single & Who’s Not

From Boston Rob and Amber Mariano to Matthew Blankinship and Frannie Marin, showmances have always been the name of the game on Survivor; that’s why we can’t help but head into every season hoping to see a showmance or two blossom among the castaways. After all, sleeping under the stars with a group of strangers is awfully romantic.
While we’ve been keeping an eye out for love in Fiji during Season 49, with only six players left, it looks like this season won’t feature any showmances. And that’s mostly because the majority of these castaways have already found love back home.
Survivor Season 49 premiered on September 24, introducing 18 new castaways to the beloved franchise. From boisterous Rizo “RizGod” Velovic to blackhead-collecting Sage Ahrens-Nichols, these castaways all came to the island looking to outwit, outplay, outlast — and (possibly) find love along the way.

Rizo Velovic
Relationship Status: Taken
Rizo Velovic, 26, was open in his intro that his friends and family call him “The Man, the Myth, the Legend: RizGod.” Rizo has made it clear on social media that he has a girlfriend named Elizabeth, whom he appears to have been dating since high school. And, yes, before you ask, she does call herself “LizGod.”
Michelle 'MC' Chukwujekwu
Relationship Status: Single
Michelle “MC” Chukwujekwu, 29, is a fitness trainer who is ready to fake ’til she makes it. According to the castaway, the first season she watched of Survivor was Season 47 (Hello, Operation Italy!), but she isn’t going to let that tidbit slip to her fellow contestants. As of right now, MC’s relationship status is unconfirmed, but she appears single.
Savannah Louie
Relationship Status: Taken
Savannah Louie is a 31-year-old former reporter turned marketing specialist who looks forward to creating the most stressful situation possible for her foes and allies alike. She has been in a relationship for over a year with her boyfriend, Brandon. Find out everything we know about their relationship here!
Nicole Mazullo
Relationship Status: Taken
According to 26-year-old Nicole Mazullo, “there’s like a lot of straight men [on this season],” so she’ll definitely have to adjust to “being around a man with a six-pack.” As an avid Survivor fan, Nicole watches the competition every Wednesday night with her girlfriend, Adelaide.
Sophi Balerdi
Relationship Status: Engaged
Sophi Balerdi, a 27-year-old entrepreneur, made it clear that she is looking to form an alliance with the biggest person in her tribe, giving her a “meat shield” for protection. While Sophi is engaged to her fiancé, Gabriel, she told Entertainment Weekly, “I am coming here to make real, genuine relationships and friends, who will be at my wedding one day.”
Steven Ramm
Relationship Status: Taken
Steven Ramm is a 35-year-old rocket scientist who currently works for NASA. Steven told viewers in his intro, “I have a beautiful girlfriend. She’s the one that encouraged me to stop talking about applying and actually do it.” With his girlfriend Kelsey by his side, it’s clear that the rocket scientist will not be soaring into a romantic relationship this season.
Alex Moore
Relationship Status: Single
Alex Moore is 27-year-old political comms director, happy for a much needed break from Capitol Hill. He told Parade, “My biggest kryptonite is, I’m a softie. People can sometimes try and take advantage, especially if it’s a cutie. I’m single. So it’s like, if there’s a cute girl basically being like, ‘Alex, we should vote this way,’ I need to get her out soon so she’s not able to convince me.” Alex has been eliminated, and he didn’t find a “cutie” on the beach.
Jake Latimer
Relationship Status: Married
Jake Latimer is a 36-year-old correctional officer. During his CBS intro, he revealed, “I married an Australian girl, brought her back to Canada, and that’s where I live currently. Before I applied for Survivor we were trying to get pregnant, four and a half years of trying for that. Finally gave up. I applied for the show, and during the application process, we got pregnant.” While he gave her the option to “bow out,” his wife, Louise, encouraged him to come on the show. Unfortunately, Jake had to leave Fiji after a scary snake bite, but luckily, that meant he was able to get home on time for the birth of his son. Find out all about his wife and baby here!
Jason Treul
Relationship Status: Engaged
Jason Treul is a 32-year-old law clerk with self-proclaimed “little guy” energy. While he tries to be humble, he claims “there is evidence that I might be smart.” Based on a pre-season interview with Parade, it’s clear that Jason has a fiancée, so he was off the market from the get-go.
Jawann Pitt
Relationship Status: Single
Jawan Pitts is a 28-year-old from a small town in New Jersey, who grew up watching Survivor as he helped raise his four younger siblings. While discussing his pre-game strategy, he told Parade, “I want everyone to feel like I’m their lovable little brother or something, their right-hand man.” At this time, he appears single.
Jeremiah Ing
Relationship Status: Single
Jeremiah Ing, 39, wanted to be the first male Taurus to win Survivor, but it just wasn’t meant to be. Jeremiah told Parade that he loves an underdog, admitting, “I feel like I’ve been an underdog my entire life. And so I feel like everyone always sees this ‘fluffy’ gay kid.” He currently appears to be single.
Kimberely 'Annie' Davis
Relationship Status: Married
Kimberly “Annie” Davis is a 49-year-old musician. Ahead of her Survivor debut, she told Entertainment Weekly, “My husband Jonathan is a huge source of inspiration to me. He is the smartest person I have ever known and challenges me every day.”
Kristina Mills
Relationship Status: Married
Kristina Mills, 36, told CBS during her intro video, “My husband is very supportive of me being out here. He was like do what you need to do. But he told me do not come back without the money.” According to Kristina, her husband, Richard, is her college sweetheart.
Matt Williams
Relationship Status: Married
Matt Williams, 52, believes that his long-haired “look” makes him “a lot more approachable.” Matt told Entertainment Weekly that his biggest inspiration is his wife Krissy, who is his “life coach and my best friend.”
Nate Moore
Relationship Status: Married
Nate Moore is a 47-year-old film producer who has produced numerous Captain America films and both Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, he shared that his biggest inspiration is, “Being a father to my two beautiful daughters and a good husband to my wife. My family is more important than any external accomplishment.”
Sage Ahrens-Nichols
Relationship Status: Taken?
Sage Ahrens-Nichols is a 30-year-old who openly admitted that she “collects pimples in a jar… Very specifically blackheads.” Sage revealed pre-season that she spent a lot of her career in the military. While Sage hasn’t said much about her love life, she is wearing a ring on that finger.
Shannon Fairweather
Relationship Status: Taken
Shannon Fairweather is a 28-year-old wellness specialist, who is a longtime Survivor watcher. According to her interview with Entertainment Weekly, she always watches Survivor with her “whole family” and boyfriend, Daniel.
Sophie Segreti
Relationship Status: Single
Sophie Segreti, 31, is a strategy associate from New York City. While she is a major reality TV fan, she hasn’t indicated if she is in a relationship or not.
