‘The Biggest Loser’: Are Any Couples Who Met on the Show Still Together?
The Biggest Loser has doubled as a dating show for some of its contestants over the years. The series aired for 17 seasons on NBC before moving over to USA Network for Season 18 in 2020, and some romantic relationships blossomed out of it.
While the purpose of the show was for contestants to lose as much weight as they could over a weeks-long period, some contestants also found love during their time on the show. Not all of these romances lasted, but some of the couples are still going strong to this day.
Netflix is looking back at the controversies that plagued The Biggest Loser in the new docuseries Fit for TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser. With the show back in conversation, we’re looking back for an update on all the couples who met while starring in the weight loss competition.

Matt & Suzy Hoover
Matt Hoover and Suzy Hoover got married after meeting on Season 2 of The Biggest Loser. He won and she finished in third place. They went on to have two sons and are still together today.
In September, the couple will celebrate 19 years of marriage.
Chelsea Arthurs & Toma Dobrosavljevic
Chelsea Arthurs and Toma Dobrosavljevic were not on the same season (she was on Season 1,5 and he was on Season 16), but they met after the show and fell in love. The two tied the knot in 2021.
Daniel & Rebecca Wright
Daniel and Rebecca Wright met on Season 8 in 2009. They got married three years later.
Sadly, Daniel died at the age of 30 in 2019 due to complications from leukemia. He and Rebecca were still together at the time of his death.
Rebecca has gone on to welcome a baby and is now engaged to her current partner, Sam.
Antoine Dove & Alexandra White
Season 8 couple Antoine Dove and Alexandra White are still married after meeting on the show 16 years ago. They got engaged during the finale of their season.
Jessica Limpert & Ramon Medeiros
Jessica Limpert and Ramon Medeiros have been together for more than a decade. They met on Season 12 in 2011 and got married in 2018. They have a son, Jaxon, together and are going strong.
In 2021, Limpert and Medeiros had weight loss surgery after struggling to maintain their weight after the show.
Marty Wolff & Amy Hildreth
Season 3 couple Marty Wolff and Amy Hildreth went on to tie the knot in 2008. They share two sons and are still together today.
Sam Poueu & Stephanie Anderson
After meeting on Season 9 in 2010, Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson got married in 2012. However, they separated in 2013 while Anderson was pregnant with their first child together (the baby was born that July).
Poueu and Anderson were reportedly having issues during their first year of marriage, which led them to therapy, where he allegedly admitted to cheating on her, according to People.
Koli Palu & Ashley Johnston
Koli Palu and Ashley Johnston got together after meeting on the set of Season 9. After being together for more than five years, they tied the knot in 2015. They are still married today and have a daughter.
