The Hunting Wives is about to take Southern fried drama to new heights. The new Netflix drama series, based on the novel of the same name by May Cobb, premieres on July 21 and follows Sophie O’Neil (Brittany Snow) as she moves to East Texas.
In this new small town, she meets glamorous and powerful socialite Margo Banks (Malin Åkerman), who takes Sophie under her wing. Beneath a seemingly perfect facade, Margo and the rest of the citizens are hiding a truckload full of secrets. Sophie soon gets caught up in a complicated tale of obsession, seduction, and murder.

Malin Åkerman stars as Margo Banks, the head gal in charge on The Hunting Wives. While her love life is filled with drama in the Netflix series, Åkerman is happily married to actor Jack Donnelly. They wed in 2018. The actress was previously married to Roberto Zincone from 2007 to 2013. They share a son.
Jaime Ray Newman
Jaime Ray Newman plays Callie in the Texas drama. Newman has been married to writer and director Guy Nattiv since 2012. They said “I do” on April 2, Newman’s 34th birthday.
