Defending Romance! All About ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ Cast & Their Real-Life Loves
Part of the fun of The Lincoln Lawyer is watching Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) navigate his relationships with his exes, Lorna (Becki Newton) and Maggie (Neve Campbell), and new love interests. Since Mickey will be focused on defending himself in court in the forthcoming episodes, it’s probably safe to say love isn’t his priority in Season 4 — so we decided to scratch our romance itch by digging into the cast’s real-life loves.

Manuel Garcia-Rulfo
Garcia-Rulfo was most recently linked to Audrey McGraw, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s youngest daughter. The couple, who has 21 years between them, reportedly started dating mid-2023. Audrey rarely offers photos of her boyfriend on Instagram, most recently during the summer of 2025. They haven’t publicly spoken about their relationship since they were connected.
Becki Newton
The Lorna actress has been married to Chris Diamantopoulos since 2005. They met at a New York subway station. She told Stay Thirsty Magazine, “We were both about to catch a train and we walked by each other and looked up at the same time. I couldn’t help but smile at him, there was just something about him. About 30 seconds after I passed him, I felt a tap on my shoulder, and he claimed to be lost. The rest is history.”
Diamantopoulos is a fellow actor, most known for Silicon Valley. He shares four kids with the actress.
Neve Campbell
Campbell, aka The Lincoln Lawyer‘s Maggie McPherson, has been in a longtime relationship with JJ Feild. Campbell and the British actor reportedly got together in 2011 and welcomed their first son in 2012. They adopted their second son in 2018.
Campbell mostly keeps her relationship out of the spotlight, but Feild once shared some details with ET Canada. They were friends first, but reconnected a few years later. He said, “We met on a film that never happened. We were meant to do a film together many years ago, and we were studying to play musicians. And we were studying music at the Royal College of Music.”
Jazz Raycole
Jazz Raycole, who plays Izzy, doesn’t appear to be in a relationship. There’s no sign of a significant other on her Instagram profile.
Angus Sampson
Like his character, Cisco, Angus Sampson is also off the market. He keeps his family details private, but the Australian actor did reveal that he had a wife and two sons in a 2014 interview. He told the Sydney Morning Herald that his wife works in the industry, and that fatherhood “gives [him] an opportunity to take [his] head out of [his] backside.”
Elliott Gould
Elliott Gould, who plays David “Legal” Siegel, doesn’t appear to be in a relationship at the moment, but he’s had some famous romances in the past. He met Barbra Streisand while working on Broadway, and they were married for 8 years before divorcing in 1971. They had one son together. In a CBS Sunday Morning interview, Gould explained that “we didn’t grow together and the reason for that was because she became more important than us. Then I also said to her, ‘We did great. We made it very fast and nobody has what we have. There’s you and me and our kid.'”
Gould married Jennifer Bogart in 1973. They divorced two years later, then remarried in 1978. Their final divorce took place in 1979. They had two kids while they were together.
Cobie Smulders
Cobie Smulders, who is joining the cast for Season 4, met husband Taran Killam at a birthday party in 2005. Smulders and the Saturday Night Live alum married in 2012. They’re parents to two kids.
On Live with Kelly and Ryan, Smulders gushed, “We’ve been together since we were 22 years young. We were babies and we survived our 20s together. I don’t know how that’s possible, but we did. It’s crazy.”
Sasha Alexander
Though her FBI Agent Dawn Ruth may be intimidating, Sasha Alexander has a sweet love story. She’s in a relationship with Edorado Ponti, the son of famous Italian actress Sophia Loren. They met at USC’s film school, but only reconnected eight years later. Before they got married in 2007, they welcomed a daughter. Their son came along in 2010, according to Hello! Magazine.
Constance Zimmer
Constance Zimmer, who plays Maggie’s colleague Dana Berg, is married to director Russ Lamoureux. They dated for four years and had a two-year-old daughter when they said “I do” in 2010. Zimmer recalled how they were set up by a mutual friend to Middle of a Love Story. In the same post, she reflected on her divorce from special effects artist Steve Johnson, whom she was married to from 1999 to 2001.
Kyle Richards
Kyle Richards is The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4’s Celeste Baker. Her character is looking to hire Lorna as a divorce attorney — and Richards has been dealing with marriage troubles of her own. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ star broke up with Mauricio Umansky in 2023. They share four daughters.
Jason Butler Harner
Jason Butler Harner, who plays Mickey’s adversary, Detective Drucker, is married to journalist and author Mickey Rapkin. They married in 2020, per VCUArts.
Scott Lawrence
Scott Lawrence, who plays Judge Stone in Season 4, has two children, but his current relationship status is unknown.
Jason O'Mara
Jason O’Mara plays Maggie’s boyfriend in The Lincoln Lawyer, and he’s in a relationship off-screen, too. O’Mara is currently dating actress Catherine Walker. They were set up by O’Mara’s sister in 2022. He told Evoke that they plan to marry in 2027. He was previously married to The 100 actress Paige Turco from 2003 to 2017.
Emmanuelle Chriqui
Emmanuelle Chriqui, aka Jeanine Ferrigno in the show, is with True Blood actor Sam Trammell. They’ve been together since 2020. She told Talkhouse of their relationship: “We’re really good at not taking each other for granted, and I feel so lucky that we met each other in this life,” she further shared, noting: “It just feels different to me, somehow. When you’ve met your person, every time you see them — no matter what — you’re just lit up. That’s what I feel like with my partner.”
Javon Johnson
Javon Johnson plays newcomer Carter Gates, and no details are known about his love life. He hasn’t shared if he’s in a relationship on his social media.
