‘Top Chef’ Season 23 Cast Relationships Guide: Which Cheftestants Are Married?

On January 29, Bravo introduced viewers to their newest batch of cheftestants for Season 23 of Top Chef. Per Bravo, the chefs must “showcase their culinary expertise, originality, and endurance as they face off in pressure-filled challenges showcasing the regional history, diverse cultural flavors, and rich agricultural bounty across the Carolinas. For the first time in the show’s history, the cheftestants include life partners who co-own and operate a restaurant and a pair of highly competitive identical twin brothers vying for the ultimate title.”

Justin Tootla
Status: In a Relationship
Big news, romance fans. This season, two of the chefs fighting for the Top Chef crown are an item. According to People, Tootla met his life partner and fellow cheftestant Jennifer Lee Jackson at the Culinary Institute of America. Together, they own Detroit-area restaurants Voyager and Bunny Bunny.
Rhoda Magbitang
Status: Unclear
Rhoda Magbitang is the executive chef of CanoeHouse at Mauna Lani, Auberge Collection, in Waimea, Hawaii. While she appeared to be in a relationship in 2023, posting, “To the real MVP of my life. I love you, @ianochs. Happy anniversary, you stud muffin,” it is currently unclear if they are still together as she has not recently posted with her “stud muffin.”
Anthony Jones
Status: Single
Anthony Jones joins Top Chef as the owner of Marcus DC. At this time, he appears to be single. Regardless of his love life, Anthony is big family guy. Bravo writes, “Between spending time in his great-grandfather’s garden and fishing trips on the bay with his dad, Anthony’s interest in a career as a chef started when he was in middle school.”
Oscar Diaz
Status: Single
Chicago native Oscar Diaz appears to be single. However, we do know a few things the cheftestant loves. Bravo shared, “A musical aficionado at heart, he loves to DJ, travel, and wants to apply the same passion and skills to food and remix his cuisine.”
Duyen Ha
Status: Unclear
Like many of her fellow cheftestants, Duyen Ha prefers to keep her love life out of the public eye. That being said, she appears to wear a ring on that finger. Giving a window into her love life on social media, she wrote, “Whipping up a late night mystery basket meal is one of my love languages.”
Jennifer Jackson
Status: In a Relationship
Jennifer Jackson makes up the other half of Top Chef‘s couple duo. In 2020, Jennifer and Justin shared on their joint account, “11 years ago, 10 restaurants, 9 states, 6 cars, 5 patient parents, 3 break-ups, 3 make-ups, countless failures, successes and adventures. Ready to do it all again, happy anniversary pickle xoxo.”
Sherry Cardoso
Status: Single
While Sherry Cardoso’s social media presence implies that she is single, she did reveal to Bravo that she has a child. The network writes, “[She completed] a culinary program at a New Jersey community college, balancing her studies while raising her child.” On Instagram, she frequently posts with her teenage son.
Laurence Louie
Status: Married
Laurence Louie joins the Top Chef family with a family of his own. Bravo writes, “Outside of the kitchen, Laurence enjoys spending time with his wife and young son.” On Instagram, Laurence posted an adorable photo of his son, sharing, “Introducing the newest member of our family: Ivo 濟𤋮 (Zai Hei) Ratsifa-Louie Our little heart joined us 3/30/2024. ❤️”
Nana Araba Wilmot
Status: Single
Nana Araba Wilmot appears to be single, but she’s still spreading the love through her Love That I Knead Supper Club, which was “inspired by her passion for creating intimate, intentional gatherings that center culture, memory, and the community as much as the food itself,” according to her Bravo bio.
Sieger Bayer
Status: Single
Sieger Bayer also appears to be single. He draws inspiration for his cooking from his family. As Bravo puts it, “[He] spent his early years in and around his mom’s garden, but it wasn’t until high school that he made the decision to pursue a career as a chef.”
Brandon Dearden
Status: Single
Brandon Dearden appears to be single, but he isn’t headed into Top Chef alone! Bravo teases, “He shares his passion for food alongside his identical twin brother and fellow competitor, Jonathan, this season.”
Brittany Cochran
Status: Single
While Brittany Cochran seems to be single, she has two supporters cheering (or barking) her on this season. “When she isn’t cooking,” Bravo says, “she loves to explore the Carolinas’ great outdoors with her two dogs.” She’s also friends with Nana Araba Wilmot, who is a cast member this season!
Jassi Bindra
Status: In a Relationship
Jaspratap “Jassi” Bindra looks to be in a relationship! He posted a Christmas photo in matching pajamas with someone who was not tagged and an adorable Santa suit-clad dog. To celebrate the holiday, he wrote to his followers, “Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 From the kitchen, with heart 🖤.”
Jonathan Dearden

While Day Anaïs Joseph appears to be single, she is still feeling the love. She recently posted, “Great food is unconditional love ❤️ Cook what you crave, anytime. 🍳”
