‘Unwell Winter Games’: All the Showmances & Couples Updates So Far
Unwell Winter Games hasn’t wasted any time when it comes to drama inside the chalet. Right away, the reality TV stars began mixing, mingling, and flirting. (Just for context: The show was filmed for four days starting February 1, 2026.)
Naturally, we had to analyze the first two episodes for showmance potential, and the show isn’t disappointing us in that regard whatsoever. There’s already been a love triangle situation. Thank you, Hallie Batchelder.
Two already-established couples are competing in the first season of Unwell Winter Games: Louis Russell and Huda Mustafa, as well as Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt. While technically not showmances, we’re still including them because they did meet because of shows.

Andrew Vetter & Hallie Batchelder
Status: Showmance In Progress
Andrew Vetter, Unwell’s production guy who got pulled in at the last minute, and Hallie Batchelder have been vibing from pretty much the start. Andrew stepped up and took Hallie’s place when she was dubbed her team’s weakest link, and he was eliminated. Hallie thought that was the end of potential romance with Andrew, but he later returned to the chalet. They didn’t waste any time making out, but Hallie’s made things messy because of her hot tub situation with Dakota Mortensen. More on that next…

Speaking of Dakota, Hallie entertained the idea of a showmance with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star. She said Dakota was “tall, handsome, [had a] great smile.” They spent some time in the hot tub together, but nothing happened. Hallie realized she wasn’t vibing with Dakota at all. There was zero chemistry. Is this the end of their connection? There are still two more days in the chalet!
Louis Russell & Huda Mustafa
Status: In a Relationship
Louis and Huda entered the chalet as a couple. They started dating after Huda’s memorable run in Love Island USA Season 7. These two are very serious. Huda told Cameron Jerrard in Episode 2 that she and Louis have “spoken about marriage, we’ve spoken about kids, we’ve spoken about all these big things.”
Status: Married
Bachelor Nation representatives Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile arrived at the chalet as the show’s only married couple. The pair met on Bachelor in Paradise and married in 2022. These two are rock solid.
