It’s just about time to return to Hope Valley. When Calls the Heart Season 13 premieres on January 4, kicking off a brand-new season full of wholesome moments, romance, and even a few twists.
When Calls the Heart Season 12 ended all the way back in March, which means you might need a refresher on all of the couples of Hope Valley. Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) were last seen leaving Hope Valley, but where did we leave off with Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) and Lee (Kavan Smith), Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei (Amanda Wong), Minnie (Natasha Burnett) and Joseph (Viv Leacock), and the rest of the town’s most prominent pairs?
Swooon has your full recap on where all the Hope Valley relationships stand heading into Season 13. Given how the last season came to a close, we’ll likely be adding even more couples to the mix by the end of this next season. Ahem, Lucas (Chris McNally) and Edie (Miranda Macdougall).

Elizabeth & Nathan
Elizabeth and Nathan finally became official in Season 12, and they quickly settled into this new chapter as a couple. Elizabeth and Nathan certainly faced their fair share of challenges, especially with Little Jack’s surprise diabetes diagnosis. When there was an issue with Little Jack’s insulin shipment, Elizabeth decided to head to Cape Fullerton in the middle of the night, where there’s a diabetes clinic that can help Little Jack.
On her way out of Hope Valley, Nathan and Allie caught up to Elizabeth and Little Jack before it was too late. “Where you go, I go,” Nathan told Elizabeth. Their dedication to each other and the family unit has us thinking Elizabeth and Nathan could be taking the next step in their relationship in Season 13.

Rosemary & Lee
Hope Valley’s ultimate power couple stayed very busy in Season 12. One of their many goals was Goldie National Park, named after their sweet daughter. Season 13 will feature the park’s grand opening. Rosemary and Lee have balanced parenthood and staying active in their community perfectly, and we can’t wait to see the goals these two accomplish in Season 13. But first, the new season has to answer this question: Will Rosemary, Lee, and Goldie get a dog? (Lee said he’d think about it!)

Mike & Mei
Mike and Mei said “I do” at the end of Season 11 in a gorgeous wedding that brought all of Hope Valley together. When Little Jack got sick in Season 12, Mike and Mei put off their second honeymoon to stay behind and help. Everyone in town chipped in to give the newlyweds a third honeymoon. Mike and Mei are headed to Miami Beach!

Minnie & Joseph
Minnie and Joseph experienced a relatable parenting milestone in Season 12. Their daughter, Angela, was gearing up to leave Hope Valley to attend The Schwartzman School. Understandably, Minnie was nervous because of the distance, but the town rallied around her when she needed their support. Minnie and Joseph will certainly be navigating a new normal with just Cooper in the house in Season 13!

Florence & Ned
Florence and Ned remain prominent members of the Hope Valley community, always helping out whenever needed. They’re still running the Hope Valley Mercantile, and everything’s going smoothly for the Yosts as of Season 12.
