Viewers are very invested in the love lives of those living in Hope Valley. From Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan’s (Kevin McGarry) ongoing love story to new romance for Lucas (Chris McNally) to Mike (Ben Rosenbaum) and Mei’s (Amanda Wong) next steps, Season 13 has been full of relationship developments.

Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace
McGarry’s love story with Kayla Wallace began on When Calls the Heart. The two met when they both joined the series in Season 6. They started dating in 2020 and announced their engagement in 2022. In addition to sharing the screen on When Calls the Heart, they played love interests in Feeling Butterflies and My Grown-Up Christmas List. In September 2024, McGarry announced that he and Wallace were married.
The couple revealed in November 2025 that they’re expecting their first child in 2026.
Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum
Krakow’s relationship with Rosenbaum also began on the When Calls the Heart set. Krakow plays our beloved Elizabeth Thornton, while Rosenbaum plays Mike Hickam. It’s unclear when they started dating, but they went Instagram official in February 2024.
The couple surprised everyone when they announced their marriage in June 2025. Months later, in November, Krakow and Rosenbaum revealed they’re expecting their first child.
Chris McNally
McNally and Julie Gonzalo met on the set of the 2018 Hallmark movie The Sweetest Heart. This couple prefers to keep their romance out of the public eye. They welcomed their first child in 2022. McNally and Gonzalo worked together again in the 2023 Hallmark movie 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost.
At the Hallmark Christmas Experience in December 2025, McNally announced that he and Gonzalo are expecting their second child.
Viv Leacock
Viv Leacock, who plays Joseph Canfield, is happily married to Divina Leacock. They started dating in 1993 and married in 2004. They have three children together. In honor of their 20th anniversary in February 2024, Leacock penned a heartfelt note to his wife.
“@_vienna.leacock @lennox.leacock and @eliasleonleacock are the reasons we do what we do, but you, my love, are the reason I can do what I do!! My wife/life I love you Forever n’6 days baby!!” he wrote.
Brooke Shields
Brooke Shields returned in Season 13 as Charlotte Thornton, Jack Thornton’s mother. Shields has been married to her husband, screenwriter and producer Chris Henchy, since 2001. They have two daughters: Grier and Rowan.
Before she met Henchy, the actress was in a relationship with tennis star Andre Agassi. They were married from 1997 to 1999.
Jack Wagner
Jack Wagner, who plays Bill Avery, was previously married to his General Hospital costar Kristina Wagner from 1993 to 2006. They have two sons together. After his split from Kristina, the actor dated his Melrose Place costar Heather Locklear. They got engaged in 2011 but soon broke off their engagement. He briefly dated his former Bold and the Beautiful costar Ashley Jones.
Wagner started dating Michelle Wolf in 2021. They married in May 2025.
Miranda MacDougall
Miranda MacDougall, who plays Edie, is one of the newer stars of When Calls the Heart. She’s been married to her husband, Callum Gunn, since 2022, but they’d been together for years prior to saying “I do.”
Loretta Walsh
Loretta Walsh, who plays Hope Valley’s lovely Florence, has been married to her husband, Neil Shapiro, for 19 years. They married on January 6, 2007. They have one child.
Kavan Smith
Kavan Smith keeps his personal life incredibly private. The actor, best known for playing Lee Coulter on WCTH, is married to Corinne Clark, a well-known casting director.
Pascale Hutton
Similar to Smith, Pascale Hutton keeps her personal life out of the spotlight. The actress, who stars as the legendary Rosemary Coulter, has been married to Canadian actor and producer Danny Dorosh since 2002. They have two kids together.
Andrea Brooks
Andrea Brooks, aka Faith, welcomed her third child with her husband, Riley Graydon, in November 2024. The couple married in August 2018 before welcoming their first child the following year. While Brooks has been open about her pregnancy journeys on social media, she keeps her relationship mostly off her Instagram.
Martin Cummins
Martin Cummins, who plays Henry in the Hallmark series, has been married to his wife, Christine Wallace, for over a decade. He was previously married to actress Brandy Ledford from 1998 to 2004.
