‘We Were Liars’ Renewed for Season 2: Everything We Know So Far

We are officially returning to Beechwood Island for Season 2 of We Were Liars!

Prime Video announced a major update on September 17: The streamer has greenlit a second season of its hit mystery-thriller series, We Were Liars. This announcement follows the major cliffhanger ending of Season 1, in which viewers learned that Carrie, played by Mamie Gummer, could see the ghost of her son Johnny, played by Joseph Zada. This twist perfectly set the stage for a second season based on E. Lockhart‘s sophomore We Were Liars book, Family of Liars. However, Prime teases in their official announcement that fans can expect plenty of surprises during the series’ second season.
