‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Hometowns Preview: Joan Confesses She’s Not In Love Yet (VIDEO)
Joan Vassos is heading into her hometown dates this week on The Golden Bachelorette, and she is ready to meet the families of her four suitors. Joan hops on a plane in this exclusive preview to see Chock Chapple, Pascal Ibgui, Guy Gansert, and Jordan Heller at home.
“I don’t think I’m at the love place yet,” Joan says in the video before explaining, “Because I’m very protective of my heart, but I’m moving in that direction.” She notes that she’s at “different places” with all of them.
The 61-year-old private school administrator acknowledges, “It’s a big deal, but hometowns look different at our age. All four of these men have very rich lives. They have kids, and family is so important to me.”
As The Golden Bachelorette nears the finale, many men have already been sent home, including fan favorite Mark Anderson. Following hometowns, Joan will be inviting three potential fiancés to her fantasy suite adventures, and she’ll be narrowing down who exactly will be the right fit for her during her sunset years.
Their family lives have all been talked about on the show, and as Joan has gotten to know them all on a personal level, she is excited to meet the people closest to them. Sadly, she won’t be able to meet Chock’s mother. She died while he was filming the show. He left his quest for love to mourn his loss before returning to see where his journey with Joan would go.
Chock’s quickly become a frontrunner for Joan’s heart, and their connection will continue to be explored during her hometown visit. Joan is well aware of how crucial this “transformative week” is for her and her beaus.” By the end of her visits, Joan hopes she’ll be in a “really good place to have one actual love.”
