While fans have watched Melody and her fellow houseguest Drew get mighty close on camera, with the show calling their relationship a “flirtmance.” Now, Melody’s off-camera connection, Aaron, has made his feelings about their relationship known.

Is Melody dating Aaron?
The U.S. Sun recently reported that an insider close to Melody and Aaron, her longtime on-again/off-again boyfriend, revealed that “Melody was not officially in a ‘full-blown relationship’ when she entered the house, but she had been reconnecting with Aaron shortly before filming began.” It’s safe to say he is not thrilled about watching Melody and Drew’s growing connection.
“Her getting on Big Brother happened at pretty much the worst time for them because it was just as things were getting back on track for them and they seemed to be getting serious,” the source continued. Aaron is apparently “angry at the situation, not necessarily at her, but that he has to watch this play out in front of him and he has no control of it. And he is hurt by what he has seen from her this week.”
The source added, “He could see the change in how she looks at Drew, and more than that, it made him realize that the Melody he knew is gone.”
How did Melody and Aaron meet?
According to The Sun, Melody met Aaron when she was a student at Arizona State University in Phoenix. “They were friends first, then it was like an on-and-off thing for a long time,” the source shared. Melody graduated from ASU in May 2024.
Did Melody shout out Aaron?
During the August 13 live elimination, Melody shouted out Aaron, mentioning that “August 13 is six months.” Fans have started to speculate that she could be referring to an anniversary. She then meowed, which appeared to be an inside joke with Aaron, that Drew overheard.

Ahead of the season, Melody told Parade, “I’m not open to showmances. I think they’re a bad idea, especially for a little blonde girl like me.”
