Rome Seymour left the Big Brother house, leaving his Season 28 showmance partner, Lyric Medeiros, to fend for herself. Now, her in-house bestie, Melody Morris, has been seeing sparks of her own with someone from the other side of the house: Drew Campbell.
That said, the two shared a candid conversation about their relationships outside of the house, where Drew revealed that he is recently single. On the other hand, Melody seemingly admitted to lying about her relationship status ahead of the season, mentioning someone she’s been seeing for two to three years.
Now that Big Brother has officially dubbed Melody and Drew this season’s “flirtmance,” Swooon‘s taking a deep dive into their relationship so far, and Melody’s love life back home.
Are Big Brother‘s Melody and Drew dating?
While the entire Big Brother house is rooting for Melody and Drew to end up together, the two are not officially together. Things have gotten incredibly flirty between the duo. However, after watching the fallout of Rome and Lyric’s public showmance, Melody and Drew have made it clear that they are not willing to sacrifice their games for a relationship.

What have Melody and Drew said about a showmance?
During Episode 10, following Kamu Kirk’s Head of Household win, Melody told viewers, “I think me and Drew definitely flirt a little bit… Of course, he’s cute, but I can’t do a showmance. I’m here to play Big Brother.”
Similarly, Drew shared, “Listen, this is Big Brother, not some dating show, and in the eyes of the public of this house being in a showmance is only going to do one thing: Paint a giant target on your back.”
The duo both stated during their confessionals, verbatim, “I’m good on all that.”
Does Melody have a boyfriend outside of the house?
Wait, is this Cheatmance 2.0? One fan shared a video on X from the live feeds, where Melody seemingly admits to lying about her relationship status, telling Drew about someone she’s been with since she was 21.

Based on the clip, Melody’s relationship status is unclear. One fan commented, “My interpretation is she has an on/off relationship with someone and it’s currently ‘on’ but she lied to production about it, but again, that’s just my interpretation.”
Only time will tell whether Melody and Drew will become the season’s second showmance or whether her relationship status outside of the house will come to life!
